The Logbook Pt. 2

The Bathroom

The bathroom in the Octopod is a chaos zone for most of the day and a war zone in the mornings.

In the morning, there is a line a mile long to use the bathroom. If the Captain is in front of someone, (no matter who it is), he'll attempt to give his spot up for them. There's never been a soul who's accepted. Everyone always practically shoves him into the bathroom so he can go, and Tweak's even stared the Captain down so he wouldn't let her go before him.

Somehow, Tweak and Kwazii always end up beside one another in this line, and once they get to the front of the line, they'll start fighting about who should go in first. By this point, whoever is behind them is completely fed up with them, and so they just walk into the bathroom instead.

Unless it's Peso or the Captain. If it's Peso or the Captain , then they'll very nicely try to decide who gets to go first today, and will attempt on getting Kwazii and Tweak to take turns using the bathroom first. (It never works, Kwazii and Tweak will only insist they go first)

There is a step stool and a little toddler potty in the bathroom of the Octopod for Peso and the Vegimals respectively. The Vegimals are too tiny for the "big potty" so they use the little one, and Peso's too short to reach the counter so he has a little step stool.

He suggests the kids should use it as well, but all of them insist on climbing onto the counters.

Everyone tries to use the bathroom before Kwazii does. Whoever goes into the bathroom after Kwazii gets water all over the floor, the shower curtain ripped to shreds, and a weird burning smell (no one knows what it is and no one wants to ask)

The toilet gets clogged at least 10 times a day with the weirdest stuff imaginable. The Captain has found wood pieces, paper, and even a boot in the toilet.

Con of living on the Octopod: You can be sitting on the toilet, pants around the ankles, and someone is banging on the door and screaming that they need to go to the bathroom.

The guardians know that they cannot go to the bathroom without something terrible happening. Peso left the children in the kitchen with Shellington for 5 minutes, and when he came back, he realized that Kwazii had fed all the kids coffee and the two younger kids had put paper in the microwave.

All the cabinets are padlocked and the one that holds everyone's toothbrushes has a passcode on it that only the adults (minus Kwazii and Tweak) know cos of the time Koshi had to get a new toothbrush cos Jane "accidentally"knocked hers into the toilet.

Shellington isn't allowed to go to the bathroom without 5 of his babies banging on the door cos they want "Shellydo" and they want to make sure he's OK cos he left them for 2 minutes.
