Sharing A Bed

OK, it's never like THAT. The only way people on the Octopod are gonna share a bed with each other is in a hotel room, on vacation, or because one of the kids or the Vegimals had a nightmare.

Peso will allow Pinto into his bed so he can keep an eye on Pinto and make sure he doesn't stay up forever or when Pinto has a nightmare.

In that case, Peso will cuddle him close, reassure him that there's nothing to be afraid of, stroke his head, kiss him all over, and sing a lullaby to make sure Pinto falls back asleep.

In the event that the Octonauts go to a hotel, there are so many of them that they all have to sleep 2 or so to a bed.

They'll usually get 1 room for the girls, one room for the boys (with an extra pull-out couch) and one room for the Baby Vegimals. Shellington has been guilty of sneaking into the cute Vegimals' room cos they begged him and he couldn't say no.

Choosing who sleeps with who in which bed is always a problem. No one wants to sleep with Kwazii, Pinto and Squirt refuse to share with each other, and Shellington just ducks out of the room into the Veggie cuties' room.

Whenever "Daddy Shellydo" stays with them for a night, the babies will beg him to read them stories and he'll sing them a lullaby to put them to sleep.

In the morning, the Vegimals will wake Shellington up and kiss him good morning cos they love him so much.

In the middle of the night, Shellington has accidentally rolled over a TV remote and scared all the cute babies, so he just cuddled them close until they were less scared and went back to sleep.

Peso and Kwazii share a lot. Peso has and will tuck Kwazii in whenever Kwazii throws the covers off in the middle of the night, and they always end up cuddling each other. When Kwazii wakes up first, he'll just kiss Peso's head, tuck him in, and let him sleep a little more.

Peso is considered an angel since he's the only one who puts up with Kwazii enough to sleep beside him.

No one wants to share a bed with the kids. Ever. All of them kick, steal the covers, push you to the edge of the bed, etc.

When Dashi's two little sisters share a bed, she and Tweak end up having to stop them from fighting every 30 minutes or so over who stole the covers, who was kicking who, etc.

Pinto and Squirt are the exact same way, but Peso will just lay in between them and soothe them until they fall back asleep.

The Captain will always make sure his "babies" are tucked in, and will personally tuck each and every one of his crew in. He and Inkling are the "Daddies" and will kiss everyone goodnight before going to sleep themselves.
