Unpopular Likes

Some of the Octopod residents like some things that aren't really popular with other people.

For example, the Vegimals love the Captain's accordion and think "Cappy" sounds so funny when he plays. Whenever he plays for the cuties, all the Vegimals immediately surround him and start clapping for him and chirping for him to play their favorites.

Peso is able to love any person and take care of them with all his sweet little heart. Even if it's Kwazii. Whenever he's in the Sick Bay after Tweak realized he wrecked another one of her Gups, Peso will bandage up all his injuries and give him little baby kisses to make it all better and tell Kwazii. "You're a good kitty, but it's not nice to hurt Tweak's feelings."

Kwazii loves eating weird things. And once when Shellington got a weird craving for kelp cakes in the middle of the night, he went to the kitchen to get himself some. Too bad for Shellington, he went into the kitchen right after Kwazii. And when he did go in there, he wondered whether or not some form of sulfur leaked into the Octopod's oxygen supply or something. It was not sulfur, it was some weird snack Kwazii got ahold of.

Koshi and Pinto both consider punk rock "not the worst."

Koshi will sooner put a Donna Doxi book into a paper shredder than admit to Jane that punk rock isn't the worst. She likes listening to the songs and tries to analyze them and see what the songwriters were trying to tell their listeners, and punk music gives her new ideas for realistic conflicts that expose great social injustices in the world.

Pinto just goes along with punk because Jane likes it and punk rock isn't BAD, but he does prefer electronic music and musicals more. Although the 'Thrash Unreal incident' is kind of now a "We Don't Talk About Bruno" kind of thing.

What happened was that a punk song Jane showed Pinto had this extremely catchy part that went "bum bum bum, bum bum, badadadum" and once Pinto heard it, he went around the Octopod singing it for around a month. The baby Vegimals then caught on and the cuties still haven't stopped singing it. Even PESO grew to hate the song, and Peso can never hate any music. Ever.

Squirt will willingly admit (without being tortured) that he loves having siblings, and he even loves his annoying little sister and annoying little brother. Why? Cos Squirt was an only child for most of his life, and he desperately wanted a brother or sister to play with and talk to, and all of a sudden, he got 3. (Plus 17 more if you count the Octonauts minus Inkling and the Captain and the Vegimals)

Tweak isn't the biggest fan of malls and dresses and glitter and all that, but whenever Dashi wants to go shopping, Tweak always does not want to go at all, but she ends up going cos it's a way to spend time with her bestie, and she and Dashi have had some good times at the mall including the time they brought Kwazii (they put him on an oversized child leash, of course) and they bought some food at the food court. Dashi and Tweak got up for a second to look at this one store with pretty lights on the sign and when they came back, all the food was gone.
