Being Guardians

Peso, Dashi, and Inkling sometimes like having a child to love, sometimes not a lot, and they practically act as 1 system for watching the kids.

The two younger kids are part of the reason they don't really like being guardians cos of the problem that the two younger kids seemed to be magnets for trouble, and also seem to get ahold of sharp objects far more than they should.

If any of the adults sees those two with sharp objects, they will break their species' speed limits to stop them.

Peso is probably the softest of all the guardians, and will by all means refuse to yell at the kids cos he's afraid of hurting their feelings.

Whenever Pinto's sad, tired, or had a long day, Peso will just cuddle his baby brother, give him stuffed animals, and let him sleep in his bed for the night.

Peso will do anything to comfort his baby brother, and whenever Pinto gets overexcited, Peso will calm him down by saying, "Alright Pinto, let's calm down now. I know you're excited, but you've get to save your energy."

Dashi is soft for children, and loves her sisters more than anything. Because of this, she can sometimes be hard on them when they misbehave or scare her with some wild stunt one of them pulls off.

After chewing them out for it, she's too sweet to see them upset, so she immediately hugs them and tells them how much she loves them, and why she was so upset about it.

Whenever her younger sisters get into fights, Dashi's extremely fair, and will just tell them, "Alright, that's enough! Koshi, Jane can do her homework later, it's absolutely fine, and Jane, don't call Koshi names, it's not nice."

Shellington nearly fainted when he the Vegimals called him "Daddy" for the first time, partially out of shock, partially out of cuteness, and mostly out of joy, cos they're his babies for life.

Inkling treats everyone on the Octopod as his grandchild, and will always be there for them with a storybook, cup of tea, and a bunch of hugs.

He loves Squirt, but can be a bit... "overbearing" with his lectures, but he's always there for Squirt to talk to. No matter what he's doing, if Squirt needs him, he'll immediately drop everything to take care of his nephew.
