Everyone on the Octopod needs each other from time to time, and even though they're a little ashamed that they need someone else to do it for them, they still love the other person for it so so so much.
(Even if Kwazii won't admit it) He needs the Captain to go into his room when he thinks there's a "spider" (piece of black cotton). He'll hide behind the Captain or hold onto him tightly with his eyes closed while the Captain picks up the piece of cotton and then sits Kwazii down on the bed and scratches his ears until he feels better.
The Captain needs Kwazii for emotional support a lot of the time. Whenever the Captain feels burnt out but refuses to stop working cos his crew is depending on him, Kwazii will go find him usually accompanied by Peso, and both of them will make the Captain lie down in bed while the rest of the crew cooks him his favorite foods and gives him back massages, hugs, and kisses cos he's such a good Captain/daddy.
Peso often needs Kwazii to come into his room with him because Peso is afraid that there are "monsters" in his room, so Kwazii will go into his room with him and scare the monsters away while yelling at them not to hurt his little matey.
The baby Vegimals' tiny flippers can't open containers sometimes, so they'll go up to someone, and give them the "pwease?" face and then they'll open the container for the cuties, no doubt.
The kids act like they're too old for their guardians, but sometimes, they still like to be cuddled by them.
