Kids' Things

Kids' things are common on the Octopod cos kids and little baby Vegimals live there. And also cos MAYBE some of the adults like to use them as well.

Peso and all the baby Vegimals still use step-stools to reach the cupboards in the kitchen. The kids SHOULD be using them as well, but they just climb all over the counter instead cos "step-stools are for babies".

The adults had kiddie toothpaste in the bathroom because some of the adults (Shellington, Dashi, Tweak, Peso, and Kwazii) still used the kid toothpaste because they don't like the taste of the adult ones.

There are kid-proof locks on Peso's medical cabinet and the bathroom cabinet that holds all the adults' shampoo and other adult hygiene products cos the kids keep getting into it, and the last time someone left them without supervision and didn't lock the cabinet, they got into the Captain's shaving cream and the whole bathroom looked like someone tried to paint the room with whipped cream.

There are bath toys and bubble bath on the ends of the bathtub at all times cos all the baby Vegimals love it. Shellington thinks it's absolutely adorable when his babies splash around in the bathtub and play with all the rubber duckies and try to feed them fish biscuits.

Peso is sometimes forced to take a bath by the Captain, who'll insist on washing his fluffy little chick, and the Captain will put bubble bath in the water and give his special little boy bath toys for him to play with in the water.

Usually, if the Captain has to wash Peso, the Captain and Dashi have to get the kids washed as well, and that's always a lot of "fun". They're still better than Kwazii by any means, the last time the Captain was trying to get him to take a bath, he only went to take a bath after Tweak told him, "If you take a bath like a good kitty, I'll give you a kelp cake afterwards." and Kwazii let the Captain carry him to the bathtub cos he wanted a kelp cake.

Dashi and Peso have a HUGE amount of stuffed animals, and whenever they're in the mood for it, they'll cuddle together in one of their rooms with all their stuffed animals and watch a Disney movie together and sometimes have a sleepover.

All the kids are still emotionally attached to something, whether a blanket or stuffed animal, and they will not go to sleep without it.

The Captain has installed a railing on the edge of Kwazii's bed cos every single night, the Captain hears Kwazii fall out of bed at least twice, so he has to go in there and put Kwazii back in bed, and insists on tucking his "son" in and giving him a kiss goodnight.
