Childish Sweetness

There are things Peso, the kids, and the Vegimals do that all the other adults find adorable.

The Captain finds all of his little ones absolutely adorable. Whenever they smile at him, he feels like the most powerful man on the planet cos he made his little baby happy.

If someone were to sit Peso in their lap, Peso would snuggle into them and wrap his flippers around their neck, which everyone one finds adorable, and which entices them to give Peso more and more cuddles.

The guardians think the kids trying to say Inkling-Level words is the cutest thing they've ever heard. Such as when Pinto was trying to say indispensable, and ended up saying "independable". Peso thought his little brother trying to say that Peso was "indispensable" and then saying the wrong word was the cutest thing he'd ever witnessed.

All the adults find the end result of the "I'm not tired and I don't want to sleep with him/her" lie too cute.

What happens is that if the Octonauts are staying with a friend and the kids need to share a bed with one another, some of them will start fighting over who sleeps with who, and this usually ends with two of the kids denying that they want to share a bed, and that they don't like each other, but once their guardians go to check on them, they're lying in bed giggling with one another, and when the guardians ask them to go to sleep, the kids will claim that they're not tired, so the guardian will put on lullabies and soothing music for them. The next time someone goes to check on them, both kids are sound asleep and cuddling one another.

Everyone finds the baby Vegimals adorable when they have no idea what an idiom means, so when Inkling asked Pinto, "What's the matter, dear boy, cat got your tongue?" The cuties went to sit in Kwazii's lap and very nicely asked him to give Pinto his tongue back.

Shellington loves all his babies to pieces and can and did make all his little babies matching onesies that all said "Daddy's little sprout" on them with Dashi's help.

Tweak thinks Kwazii is the cutest thing ever when she's scratching his ears, and Kwazii just goes "mew" while purring, and whenever she gets Dashi excited about something or other, and Dashi just goes "yip" and then covers her mouth and blushes bright red out of embarrassment.
