The maturity levels of everyone in the Octopod varies greatly. You have Dashi, who's probably one of the most mature young adults on the face of the earth, and then there's Kwazii. I don't need to explain anything.

Peso is very mature for his age, even though he's still a baby in a way. He's very levelheaded and can even stop the two younger kids from killing each other. The Captain always loves to praise him on this and calls him a "big boy", and Peso practically glows with Daddy Barnacles's praise.

Koshi and Squirt are equally as mature as Peso is, and there's a reason those two are the "good kids". Oftentimes, they'll be in the library reading, playing chess, and behaving CIVILLY to each other.

The two younger kids are "so, SOOOOOO" mature. Once at the dinner table, Jane told Squirt while talking really fast "Hey idiot, say what." And Squirt had the "intelligence" to go "what?" And then Jane told him "haha, you're an idiot." He didn't understand the prank until Koshi explained it to him and then he just couldn't understand why the heck he even fell for it.

Pinto has once pulled an even dumber prank on Shellington, he told Shellington, "Hey Shellington, look under." And Shellington asked him, "Under where?" And Pinto said "Haha, you said "underwear!"

Believe it or not there's actually someone even more mature.

Kwazii runs in circles around the Launch Bay screaming incoherently until Tweak chases him with one of her heavy metal tools and SCREAMS at him to get out. He does, but he only goes to annoy someone else. Usually it's Shellington, and once he annoyed Shellington enough (or Shellington physically shoves him out of the lab) he'll keep going and try to annoy every single living being on the Octopod.

The baby Vegimals are probably too sweet to pull whatever pranks the two younger kids pull or annoy everyone like Kwazii, but almost every single day, they waddle into the lab and raise their flippers up for a hug from "Daddy Shellydo" and this dude physically cannot say no, so he spends around 1 hour giving all his little babies hugs and kisses and TLC
