Stared At

Being stared at whenever they go is only too common for the Octo-Family. They're a huge family, and Kwazii somehow always ends up being the center of attention whenever they go.

A hyperactive Kwazii in any situation can't possibly end well. Especially if they're out in public. Usually it ends in Kwazii making a huge scene and everyone looking at him like, "Wtf is this dude doing?" Or Tweak smacking him over the head and yelling at him to "shut his big yap or she'll duct tape it shut for him."

The baby Vegimals have a habit of giving random strangers hugs and kelp cakes or fish biscuits and telling them, "I wuv you." cos they can, and the stranger either dies of cuteness and gives the Vegimals
a hug and whatever candy they have on them or is super weirded out or suspicious as to why these cute little angels are giving them free hugs and food.

Once when Inkling took all the kids and Kwazii to a city's downtown area, he realized that even with 8 arms, there's no way he can control 5 sugar high children at once (yes I'm counting Kwazii for obvious reasons)

Once when the two younger kids were exceptionally bored, and Jane pointed out a brick in the doorway of a building to Pinto, both of them decided to sit there are stare at it for no apparent reason and then get into a fight over how they think the brick got there. Everyone passing by gave those two the weirdest looks, but most mothers that passed by just gave Inkling a pat on the tentacle and went, "It's OK, children are always like this."

Oftentimes, strangers mistake the Captain as an adoptive dad with like 500 kids, and they go, "Aww, daddy's spending a day with his babies!"

Whenever strangers look at Tweak and Dashi when they have a day out together, their first thought when they see Tweak dab whipped cream onto Dashi's nose is "Aww, they're the cutest best friends!"

Or when Dashi drags Tweak to the mall, and Tweak's expression tells everyone everything they need to know. There was that one incident where Dashi tried to get Tweak to go into a dressing room to try on a dress, and Tweak kinda ran for it.

Anyone who's witnessed the Captain carrying Peso back to the car after Peso fell asleep on his shoulder at the library or giving any of his babies a hug has had their heart melted by the sweet sight.
