Public Transportation

Going on any form of public transportation for the Octonauts is complete chaos.

Going anywhere in a bus or train is already harder than it needs to be simply cos there are so many of them, imagine what going in TAXIS would be like.

The last time they all went in multiple taxis, Kwazii gave them the wrong location, and they didn't get everyone to where they were going for 2 HOURS cos there were too many of them for one taxi, and the taxis were taking forever to flag down.

Even before getting on whatever they're taking, chaos ensues. Everyone will RUN to make sure they're not late, and 23 creatures running= stampede, not to mention no one remembers who has the tickets, or how to BUY them.

Going on a subway usually doesn't end well. Whoever's trying to get off the subway at the time the Octonauts are boarding usually gets caught in the stampede of the Octonauts, kids, and Vegimals trying to get on.

Whenever they're on a bus or subway, everyone will make anyone else in the vicinity sit down before they do, and then Inkling is old-people-babied and forced to sit down. Peso and Inkling have had a very polite debate in the center of the bus over who should sit in the last remaining seat at least 100 times.

When the Vegimals have to stand, it becomes a water brigade line where they pass Vegimals instead of buckets to the closest member of their group who is sitting.

When no one is sitting, then everyone frees up one arm to carry a baby Vegimal or two. The Vegimal will not be heavy or hard to carry at all. They're so tiny and they'll simply wrap their flippers around your neck and nuzzle into you the whole time.

Everyone who has to stand is immediately joined by the Captain since he wants to keep a close eye on his babies so they won't fall over and hurt themselves.

He'll simply wrap his big fluffy arm around them tightly and hold on tight so they don't fall while anchoring himself using a pole or the top thingy on subways or buses for tall people.

Letting Kwazii watch the kids for five seconds on a bus will end in disaster. The kids will fall over super easily cos they're pretty small and light, and Kwazii isn't too good at staying balanced either.

In fact, Tweak loves to bring up the incident in which Kwazii tried to prove to her that he was better at standing on a bus, and everyone had a crazy screaming orange cat rolling down the aisle five minutes later.

Also, the two younger kids are sure that the monkey ring thingies on subways are toys and will stand on seats to reach them. It totally ends well, totally does.

Peso always keeps the closest eye on the kids, and will wrap his arm protectively around them to keep them from falling.

The Captain is usually busy trying to keep Shellington from, well, falling.

If anyone falls, Peso will be there as he can, so will the Captain to take you into his arms and kiss you all better, and the Vegimals to hug and sing for you cos you got hurt.
