At the Beach

One of the Octonauts' favorite things to do is go to a beach. Whenever they come across one that seems to be a nice one to drop anchor and relax on, they go.

The Captain and Peso make a good mothering team. The Captain will hug someone tightly while Peso slathers an unholy amount of sunscreen on them.

When they're on land and there's a beach, it does not matter if it's just above freezing, they will go, coats and all, and just sit on the beach and chill.

In these situations, Dashi and Peso will tell the two younger kids not to get sand on their clothes or in their shoes. They do not get sand in their shoes. They do not get sand on their clothes. They get sand ALL OVER THEM cos they had a sand fight.

One of the favorite games to play at the beach is wave tag in which everyone will stand close to the water and try to outrun a wave when it comes.

The baby Vegimals are too tiny and their cute little waddle doesn't get them too far, so either Kwazii, Tweak, or the kids will lift them up and run away with the babies in their arms.

Shellington and Inkling will have story-time for the cuties on the beach, and will read them books while the Vegimals sit around them on the beach and play with the sand with their tiny flippers cos they think it's so soft, and it's so cute.

Sleeping on the beach will end in disaster with the kids, Kwazii, and Tweak around. Once when Kwazii fell asleep on the beach, he woke up to an airhorn in the face, permanent marker and Dashi's makeup smeared all over his face, and himself taped down to his towel.

Usually, if Tweak doesn't get involved, the worst the kids can do is bury someone in sand. Inkling now tries to keep himself as busy as possible to refrain from falling asleep so the kids don't bury him.
