Some behaviors of people on the Octopod were learned from their new Octo-family, and not all of them are exactly good behaviors.
Peso didn't know how to cut up his food with normal knives and forks before he became an Octonauts but he learned by watching all the other Octonauts do it, and the Captain taught Peso by putting his paws over Peso's flippers and helping him cut his food.
Everyone on the Octopod has learned how to politely refuse something they don't want to do and they're all very talented at making up logical excuses for why they can't do it due to the Captain's accordion and Inkling's lectures.
The Vegimals learned a lot of things from watching their beloved 'Shellydo' and everyone else.
All the Vegimals now know how to use lab equipment and lab safety because they saw Shellington do it 500000 times. Shellington has been knows to lift his little babies onto his shoulders and talk them through the whole process.
For example, the first time the cuties played "Tea Party" with Professor Inkling, all of them watched in awe as the Professor drank tea in the "proper" way and taught them all proper etiquette while all the babies watched him.
Pinto learned "etiquette" from Kwazii. AKA he learned to shove as much food into his mouth as physically possible because that's just what Kwazii does.
The two younger kids have learned a few... relationship habits... from Tweak and Kwazii. For example,
"Get out of here, Scheisskopf!"
"Make me, Cabron!"
"Oh, I'll make you alright!"
Tweak and Kwazii have learned their fair share of things from the kids as well (such as every German and Spanish cuss word anyone can think of)
The two older kids learned a whole crapload of incredibly long obsolete words from Inkling that came from staying in the library with him for a very very long time.
The one thing they didn't learn from Inkling (or did learn and were too nice to use it) was Inkling's... lecturing tendencies. If they did learn how to lecture like Inkling, the younger kids are screwed.
