On the Octopod everyone will do anything to keep anyone else safe. ANYTHING.
The Captain will throw himself in front of a poisonous jellyfish to keep his "children" safe. Of course, when he does this, everyone will physically drag him to Peso and Peso will care for him while kissing his head and telling him that he'll be OK and sweetly begging him not to do it ever again.
Kwazii and Pinto are the Anti-Boyfriend Squad once Tweak brought a boy from her high school that she had been friends with onto the Octopod, and the poor guy just happened to be of her species, he kept wondering why this orange pirate cat kept eyeing him suspiciously.
When Jane brought one of her animation friends, Bryson who's of her species, over (Correction: Bryson begged her to see the Octopod, and the myth that no one can say no to a Golden Retriever is kinda true...) Pinto immediately got in his face and started the usual "How do you know him?" questions.
The baby Vegimals are afraid of storms, and when there is one, everyone stays in their room to comfort them, and tries to make them feel better.
