The Logbook Pt. 2

Tender Loving Care

Everyone on the Octopod has either been given or has given TLC to their "family".

Kwazii has maintained for the longest time that pirates are "tough" and don't do hugs. Then both Pinto and Peso latched onto him and told him they loved him. Now Kwazii's holding two cute little penguins in his lap and will hiss if anyone else tries to touch them.

The Captain often gives all of his crew all the love they can ever wish for. He'll give them good-morning hugs every single day and give them goodnight kisses each night. He's often been known to put the smaller members of his family into his lap and proceed to coo over how cute they were for a good 30 minutes. Basically, the Captain doesn't waste a second in letting his "family" know he loves them.

His crew does the same for him. Every time they realize the Captain is upset about something and isn't telling them because he doesn't want to be an "inconvenience," all his crew instantly get the message and give him hugs and kisses until he feels better.

Dashi and Tweak constantly go to each other for cuddles whenever they feel like it because they know for a fact that their bestie will never be able to say no ever, so they end up giving each other hugs at like 3 AM because neither of them wanted to go to sleep while they watch movies and eat kelp cakes they found in the pantry.

All the Vegimals can and have run up to Shellington with their arms up, begging him to be picked up with their cute little faces and Shellington cannot say no to any of them, so he attempted to pick up 12 Vegimals at the same time. The Vegimals are tiny, but 12 is a lot of cute little babies to pick up, and due to Shellington's less than desirable coordination and balance skills, he proceeded to fall flat onto his face. 

Whenever the babies are bored, they'll run to "Shellydo" and start clinging to his shins and chirping about how much they love him. Shellington finds it very hard to keep composed and not melt into a pile of mush when this happens. 

All the adults love it when one of the kids decides they want cuddles. The adults think the kids give the best hugs known to humankind, and even the "tough" people who insist that they're NEVER soft have been caught lying on the floor with one of the kids curled up beside them while they gave them all the love they could.
