Reminders Of Each Other

When people on the Octopod miss each other enough, anything will remind them of their Octopod family.

Once Squirt went off to an honors science college, he enjoyed all of his classes, but then remembered how much he missed his uncle, so he called Inkling at 10 PM (practically the middle of the night for Inkling), and told him how much he loved him, and thanked him for all Inkling's done for him.

Once Pinto left for medical school, everything became too quiet for Peso, so Kwazii and the Captain went into his room and watched Peso's favorite movies with him while he sat in their laps to cheer him up a little.

When Jane first heard the song Problem Child by Simple Plan (above), she nearly cried cos she was reminded of the literal hell she gave Dashi, so she sent the song to her, with a text saying, "I'm sorry".

Dashi cried at the idea that her baby sister thought she was nothing but a burden to her, and proceeded to text her a whole lecture about how much Dashi loved her and how she was worth the world to her and wasn't a burden.

Whenever Tweak and Kwazii fight with each other, they'll feel super bad about it cos they made the other one sad, and however big their fight was, they'll always go back and be crying in each other's arms and hugging each other by 10 minutes. 

Whenever Shellington leaves the room for a minute while being with his babies, all the baby Vegimals will get scared that something happened to "Shellydo", and their sweet little bottom lips will begin to tremble, their eyes will fill with tears, and they'll start crying for "Daddy Shellydo" to come back.

Once the Captain and Kwazii walked in on all the babies sitting on the floor sadly waiting for Shellington to return, so the Captain scooped them all up in his big cozy arms, and promised them that they would find Shellington.

They ended up going on a huge expedition across the entire Octopod looking for Shellydo, and when they finally found him, all the babies immediately latched onto him and gave him a big hug.

Then it was the Captain's and Kwazii's turn. They both got a hug along with a "Thank you for helping find Shellydo. You're the bravest, nicest Captain and pirate ever in the whole ocean." (Shellington nearly died of cuteness translating that.
