Everyone on the Octopod has been shocked by something before whether it's by how sweet the Vegimals are to why the heck Kwazii's dangling from the ceiling trying to sing Hamilton songs.
The Captain has wandered into the Launch Bay and saw Kwazii and Tweak fighting. He doesn't care by this point cos they do it so often, but he's truly shocked if Tweak and Kwazii are still mad at each other the next day because Kwazii and Tweak usually make up within 10 minutes of their original fight.
Whenever anyone walks into Tweak's room and sees the literal mess of stuff in there and then see her simply reach into a pile of clothes and pull out the headband Dashi was asking to borrow.
Calico Jack was taken aback by how cute the baby Vegimals were and how much they reminded him of Kwazii when he was a kitten. When Calico Jack boasted to Kwazii about how "tough" pirates were, everyone decided not to tell him that they remember him sitting all the Vegimals in his lap, telling them pirate stories, and letting him try on his hat like he did with Kwazii when he was a kitten.
The Vegimals' first English word was "Shellydo" and once they said it, Shellington was so shocked he nearly dropped the chemical he was holding and he could barely see from the tears in his eyes.
The fact that Inkling used to be young has shocked the kids to the point where Inkling has threatened them with opera music when they attempted to discuss his age
