The Logbook Pt. 2

Together

On the Octopod, whenever someone needs help, everyone else gets together to help them.

Whenever Kwazii and Tweak have a horror movie marathon (cos they want to see who's less of a "scaredy-Octonaut") (Kwazii was a bit offended by the original term) they usually get Dashi to come along and judge who's less scared. The only problem? Dashi's more scared of horror movies than both of them combined.

When she does get scared, Kwazii and Tweak cuddle her in between them while covering her eyes and ears so she doesn't see or hear anything her innocent mind shouldn't, and will reassure her that everything's alright, and even if the monster from the movie comes, they won't let it get her.

Once when Shellington fell into a ditch in a forest cos "someone" got a little too excited about some rare freshwater fish, the Captain, Kwazii, and Paani immediately pulled him out, and seeing that he had a bruise on his knee (nothing too bad), the Captain still carried him to Peso, and Peso bandaged him up and refused to let him go back out. 

Shellington was a little sad about not being able to see a fish he really wanted to, so Dashi told him that she'd go out for him and take videos for him. Once the baby Vegimals found out that Shellington got hurt, all of them rushed to the Sick Bay and spent all their time trying to make him feel better by feeding him kelp cakes, comforting him, and kissing his "boo-boo" all better. Inkling offered to babysit Dashi's little sisters while she did so. (Nice of him to sacrifice his sanity.)

Whenever Peso has a nightmare, he'll sometimes go to Kwazii's or the Captain's room. Whenever Peso does have a nightmare, the Captain's "daddy senses" go off, and he goes RUNNING, and Peso usually never leaves his bed before Kwazii and the Captain show up at his room.

Pinto usually woke up during all that, and while the Captain consoles Peso and sings a lullaby, Kwazii will sit in Pinto's bed with him and give him cuddles while telling him a story to soothe him back to sleep. What has happened is that the Captain's lullaby put all of his "sons" to sleep. In that case, he just carries Kwazii back to his own room and tucks him in.
