Mostly everyone on the Octopod has hidden something from their "Octo-Family" so they could keep it in one piece or uneaten.

Shellington has hidden his lab chemicals so. many. times. from Kwazii, especially that one time Kwazii thought one of Shellington's chemicals was Kool-Aid and proceeded to nearly drink it before Shellington ran in, saw Kwazii with the beaker to his lips, and proceeded to snatch it out of his paws and haul him by the tail to Peso to make sure he didn't swallow any of it.

Both Shellington and Peso took turns scolding Kwazii for nearly drinking a biohazard and decided to remind him what it would do to him while Kwazii was like "But it looked YUMMY!!!!!!" Shellington now hides and locks away all his chemicals in a safe.

Everybody is guilty of hiding food at some time or another to make sure it'll still be there when it returned. It's usually one certain feline's fault that someone's frosted fish biscuits disappear. Even the Vegimals know to hide their biscuit dough to keep Kwazii's paws off of it.

All the guardians are known to have movies, books, and snacks hidden from the kids and take them out when the kids finally are out of the room or in bed and stuff themselves with snacks while watching their favorite movies or reading their favorite books.

The Vegimals sometimes play "hide and seek" with objects. This ended in a little bit of a problem when one of the Vegimals thought there was a spatula hidden in the vents and proceeded to get their head stuck in the opening of the vent.

The two younger kids sort of taught themselves how to hide (and dispose of) a body using broken objects. Whenever either of them break something, they'll hide it out of a panic and hope no one notices.
