The Logbook Pt. 2

Their Parents Embarrassing Them

All the Octonauts' parents have embarrassed them in front of their friends at some time or another.

When the Captain was little, his mother would dress him and Bianca in matching frilly little outfits. When Bianca brought their mother and the cubs to the Octopod, their mother simply had to tell all the Octonauts all the cute outfits the Captain and Bianca had been forced into and even showed them photos. While all this was happening, Bianca suddenly needed to use the bathroom and didn't come back for 30 minutes and the Captain retreated to his room for an hour.

The Captain tries not to embarrass his "children" as best as he can, and tries to be the "cool dad" in front of all his children's friends.

Kwazii's mother used to boop him on the nose as a little baby kitten and he'd bust out laughing uncontrollably. As a big grown up cat, Kwazii was extremely embarrassed by his baby self's behavior, especially when the whole Octopod was told about it.

Peso's mother seems to love embarrassing her sons sometimes. Whenever she sees her sweet little boys, she always insists on hugging them for hours, fussing over them to no end, and giving them 500 kisses all over their sweet little faces because she hasn't seen them in so long. Peso loves all the attention his mother gives him, but Pinto often squirms and tries to get away from her cos she's holding him too tightly, but he secretly loves being coddled.

Shellington's father was as awkward and he was and just as clumsy which led to some instances of Shellington's father tripping and face planting right in front of his kids and their friends. Pearl and Shellington were never too embarrassed though. They just helped their dad up and asked him if he was alright.

Dashi's father was a pro at embarrassing his wife and daughters. Once when he went to pick Dashi up at a birthday party, he honked his horn super loudly and screamed, "HEY, DASHI! YEAH YOU! REMEMBER ME?! I'M YOUR DAD!!!!!!!" After that, Dashi would always beg her mother to pick her up from anything instead of her father. Also there was that one time he took both the little girls to the store by himself, but it's a mutual agreement between Dashi and her mother to never mention it.

Inkling embarrasses Squirt in front of almost everyone with his lectures. Whenever Inkling starts lecturing, Squirt blushes bright red, hides his face in his tentacles and begs Inkling to stop.

Ranger Marsh often told corny jokes like the "Ranger Marsh-mallows." to everyone he met which embarrassed Tweak to no end, but Tweak was still proud as ever of her daddy, and whenever a creature would admire the way Ranger Marsh handled a situation, little Tweak would puff out her chest and tell them, "That's my Pa. Isn't he amazing?

The baby Vegimals cannot be embarrassed by "Daddy Shellydo" ever. They all love him too much, and whenever Shellington does anything remotely embarrassing from falling over (the Vegimals just run up to him and smother him in kisses) or talk nonstop about science (the cuties think Shellington is so so so smart) the Vegimasl couldn't care less because Shellington is their "daddy" no matter what and they love him too much.
