The Logbook Pt. 2

Medical "Oops"

 Some of the members of the Octopod family have slight medical issues, or when someone is sick, they'll "forget" about their condition and illness and do something that's probably not medically advised.

Whenever Peso finds out, he goes full mommy-care on them and forces them into the Sick Bay and starts fussing over them and tending to them.

Like when Tweak doesn't get enough sleep, and ends up being grumpy and falling asleep on the job. He'll get the Captain to carry her to the Sick Bay, and the Captain will lay her in his lap and stroke her head while Peso gets into bed with them and simply cuddles Tweak and rubs her back in circles until she falls asleep.

Peso cannot go a single day without fussing over the kids or the Vegimals, or Inkling. He'll always be following the kids around whenever they go outside, asking if they need him to help them with their oxygen tanks, or if the water is too cold, or if they need more sunscreen. He'll always ask Inkling if he has enough energy to do something, or if he needs Peso to push him in his chair. Inkling always politely refuses, and gives Peso a pat on the back with an "I'll be alright, dear boy. This old octopus is fully capable of taking care of himself."

Whenever the Captain "forgets" to eat due to being busy, the whole crew surrounds him and practically drags him to the kitchen to eat, and will spoon-feed him cos he's done it for them so many times when they were sick. 

The baby Vegimals worry about everyone if they don't eat, so the sweet little cuties will waddle up to their room later on with a plate of their favorite kelp cakes, and go "Eeta, pweeza." Obviously, no one can say no to those sweet little faces, so they eat. 

When the kids grew up, they somehow managed to obtain TERRIBLE work-life balances, eating habits, and sleeping habits. 

Pinto started playing "doctor" to all of his friends, and would make Koshi stop working on her new book while forcing Squirt to eat some kelp cakes the Vegimals just made cos he hasn't eaten all day, and practically yelling for Jane to take a nap cos she hasn't slept in 36 hours.
