The Logbook Pt. 2

Concerningly Normal Things

There are some "happenings" on the Octopod that seem to be rather concerning to someone who doesn't live on the Octopod.

It concerns the Captain, Peso, and any visitors to the Octopod that if they were to go to the kitchen at 2 AM for a glass of water, they'd run into Kwazii sitting on the floor with a pile of kelp cakes that he's just stuffing his face with. If anyone approaches him, no matter who it is, he will hiss at them.

Kwazii's table manners, however disgusting they are, aren't out of the ordinary. In fact, by now, no one bats an eye when Kwazii stuffs 5 fish biscuits into his mouth at once.

It's perfectly normal to see Tweak chasing Kwazii around the Launch Bay and waving a heavy tool at him because he crashed the Gup-B for the thousandth time. By now, Kwazii's used to going to the Sick Bay with a sprained tail and a a minor concussion.

This has freaked Ranger Marsh and Calico Jack out dozens of times, but the Captain has always stopped Calico Jack from jumping in, claws a blazing, to protect his "Little Kwazii" because the Captain knows full well that Tweak and Kwazii fight at least 50 times a day.

Everyone is used to Vegimals flying through the air from time to time when the cuties tried to launch each other high enough to reach a shelf, but they sort of miscalculated the trajectory, and now their "pilot" flew off course.

On the Octopod, minor explosions from
the lab are considered normal cos Shellington may or may not have accidentally dropped one chemical into another. By now, no one bats an eye when a little "bang" sound comes from the lab.

Tweak is used to having someone stay in her room with her whether it be Dashi, Kwazii, or anyone else for that matter, and it suits her just fine. She has terrible insomnia, so having someone keep her company is the best thing that anyone can do for her, even though someone has yet to stay awake as long as she does.

By now, everyone considers hearing the kids yell at each other all day perfectly normal, despite whatever they may be screaming at each other about.
