Snacks

A/N- I am not a Justin Bieber fan, I just remember this song playing in the Asian market I went to all the time when I was about 8, and got hit with nostalgia

There's never a shortage of snacks on the Octopod, even with Kwazii spending 1/3 of his time eating everything in sight, the Vegimals somehow are able to keep up with the demand for their fish biscuits and kelp cakes.

Whenever the Vegimals bake a new batch of fish biscuits or kelp cakes, they'll run all around the Octopod, offering them to whoever they see with their sweet little faces. It is impossible to say no to the delicious food and the Vegimals' sweet little faces, and whoever is offered the food always offers a bite to the sweet little baby who brought them the food.

The Vegimals get a snack time of their own sometimes as well. If the kids have extra time on their hands, all of them will help Inkling make a snack for the babies, and let them sit in their laps while they feed the baby Vegimals applesauce or kelp yogurt or something like that.

The Captain doesn't want to ask his baby Vegimals to make him a snack out of fear of inconveniencing them. The Vegimals can always tell when "Cappy" is hungry and will go and make him his favorite snacks anyways.

Peso loves animal crackers and fruit snacks cos he's still a smol boi at heart. The Captain still cuts the crust off his sandwiches for him, and Peso will always give the Captain a thank you hug and kiss for doing so, and that more than anything can make the Captain smile.

Kwazii... The record he has for most kelp cakes eaten in one sitting is 18, and he got sent to Peso for it. He has the weirdest cravings, and he often pillages the fridge in the middle of the night cos he got hungry.

When the kids are hungry in the middle of the night, they'll usually go to Kwazii or Tweak, and one of them will make a snack for "their babies" Kwazii by far has come up with the weirdest one (he put pickles on cucumbers).

Tweak always says that they got lucky with 4 non-picky eaters. The kids will give anything a try as long as it doesn't look questionable (Kwazii's cooking) and it's not vegan meat or tofu cos the kids have a very strong aversion against those foods for some reason.

Tweak has offered Dashi carrots so many times, and Dashi's always willing to eat them except for the fact that somehow, Dashi cannot bite through a carrot, and so Tweak will always cut it up for her, and Dashi will thank her for it with endless cuddles.
