Because of Each Other

Everyone on the Octopod has habits that have just appeared because of someone they loved or have done something because someone they loved wanted them to.

For example, Shellington ended up doing yoga with Dashi and the Vegimals while wearing a pink leotard cos the baby Vegimals wanted him to do yoga with them, and Tomminow insisted on picking out his outfit for him, and he couldn't say 'no' to the extremely Dashi-like outfit she picked out for him cos she was so cute

Whenever Tweak hears someone come into the Launch Bay, she's practically programmed to inch her heaviest hammer towards her (the reason is up to speculation, ;)). She doesn't dare hit first and ask questions later cos the person trying to sneak into her workshop may be Dashi trying to surprise her with cuddles and carrots or one of the kids who want to help her.

Because of the kids, Tweak now has a contact-free Kwazii weapon. The kids have helped her when they turned one of her hammers into Thor's hammer using cardboard, tinfoil, and markers. Kwazii actually believed it was Thor's hammer at first, and ran away screaming for the Captain cos "Tweak had Thor's hammer". Both Tweak and the Captain facepalmed at that.

Because he has 21 beautiful children, the Captain is extremely watchful over them. Shellington and Inkling once stepped 3 meters away from the Octopod to study some sea stars, and through the HQ window, they could see the Captain sipping hot chocolate out of his mug while watching them.

Whenever the Captain reads or watches anything, he never fails to find one character/person who reminds him of at least one of his "children".

After the Captain watches a movie/show or reads a book where a character that reminded him of one of his babies dies, then he'd give all of his 'little treasures' kisses on the head and tell them, "I love you" whenever they step out of his sight.

Because of his new family, Peso is less afraid of the dark because he knows that his family will protect him from all the monsters hiding in the dark.

When Min was babysitting them once, after she found out that the kids had gone to bed at 3 AM and woke up at 6 AM, she decided to ask them all to take a nap. When she presented the idea to Inkling, he was on the verge of laughing at the idea cos it couldn't work.

Believe it or not, Min ended up putting the kids to sleep with zero trouble at all. The kids had first decided, "alright, we'll humor her for as long as we can cos we love her." But after Min started rubbing their backs in circles and giving them sweet little kisses on the forehead, it was all over for them. After Min told their guardians and all the other adults, none of them believed her, and when they did, she was immediately looked at like she was a goddess.
