Singing Voices and Abilities

Everyone on the Octopod has some singing ability (thanks to Peso very patiently teaching them)

Peso has a very high tenor voice (a higher male voice) that sounds like an angel since he's been singing lullabies to Pinto since Pinto was an egg. He personally values everyone else's voices over his own cos he's so proud of how far they've come in terms of singing. Basically, Peso is too much of a sweet little cinnamon roll to be overly proud of his own voice, and instead is overly proud of everyone else's voices.

Pinto is 8, so there's no way he can sing too low, but Squirt is 10, again, still not old enough for dangerously low notes, but he can sing some relatively low notes.

There are no alto ladies (ladies with low voices (see Luisa from Encanto)) all the girls have relatively high voices.

The Captain has the deepest voice of all the boys, followed by Inkling. Peso and Kwazii have the highest voices of all the boys.

It took Peso the longest to teach Squirt, Shellington, and Kwazii how to sing.

Squirt and Shellington were too shy to sing in front of Peso, resulting in Peso sweetly cuddling them and assuring them that it was OK to sing in front of him, and he'd love their voices no matter what and Kwazii... is well, Kwazii.

The first audience Squirt and Shellington performed in front of was the baby Vegimals. Of course, all the babies had nothing bad to say about the performance at all, and asked for more.

Kwazii sucked so much at first that whenever he started to sing, everyone would duck for cover and smash cushions over their ears, but now he can sing semi-decently, and Peso was so proud he cried, and Kwazii thought he horribly upset Peso at first, so he immediately went and gave him a hug going,
"I'm sorry, matey, are you OK? Don't cry, shhh... You'll be alright."

Peso thought it was a bit of a funny coincidence when both his family and Dashi's had a strange hierarchy when it came to rapping abilities.

The older children (Dashi, Pinata, and Pogo) sucked at it and could not rap to save their lives, the middle children, (Peso and Koshi) were OK but messed a couple of things up like rhythm or tone, and the youngest children (Pinto and Jane) were absolutely amazing at rapping and could even rap through Burr's fast part of the opening song from Hamilton or Guns and Ships (so far only Pinto can do the second one cos it's so so so fast).
