A/N- Chapter 195 again. Would you like to have a chapter 3 of the Logbook AND a Oneshots/drabbles book, or both or neither?
Everyone on the Octopod sometimes cannot do things at an acceptable times or on time for the life of them.
The Captain constantly forgets to eat and sleep at the right times, so he's usually dragged to the table or his bed by his crew and watched very closely to make sure he's doing what he supposed to.
When everyone's having family night, Kwazii will run in screaming about some 100-tentacled sea monster (the shadow of a sea urchin) like 30 minutes later and everyone will stare at him like "wot?"
When Kwazii and Peso decided to jump up and high five at the same time and Kwazii started to count down, they realized after the 5th attempt that little penguin feet can't jump as quickly or as high as a cat's, so Kwazii bent down and let his little matey high five him instead.
Shellington will miss meals cos he just got so caught up in his experiment he was doing to remember, so the baby Vegimals will toddle into the lab and give him 10,000 kisses while begging him to come eat, and he'll try to console them while not wanting to take his eyes off his experiment so he's just holding a baby Vegimal on his hip while trying to shield them from the chemicals in the lab.
Dashi knows she should probably be going to bed early sometimes, but to her, hanging out with Tweaky is far more important. She'll go down to Tweak's room, and tell herself, "I'm gonna stay here for half an hour; I gotta go check on the girls anyways." She ends up sleeping in Tweak's lap for the rest of the night.
Inkling has the habit of promising himself he'll only read for so long because he has things to (other books to read). He ends up reading the book until he falls asleep and proceeds to sleep until dinnertime.
Tweak does not know she's supposed to stop working when she gets hungry. The Captain ends up luring her to the kitchen with carrots, or if she's being extra-stubborn, picks her up and carries her to the table and plops her in her seat.
The kids keep terrible track of time to the point where they give off the impression that they just don't care. One of them will toddle into one of their older friends (the adult they idolize) rooms and proceeds to stay there for the rest of the night instead of until 2 AM like they planned.
