Everyone who's a part of the Octopod Family love each other more than life and will take any opportunity to prove it.

Whenever the Captain joins his "family" for breakfast in the morning, he'll give everyone a cuddle and kiss on the head and will wish them all a 'good morning' and ask "How did you sleep last night?"

The Vegimals give constant affection, and will spend a good chunk of their time giving everyone hugs and kisses so everyone makes sure they're loved.

In return, everyone will do the same for them, and will cuddle, kiss, and hold the baby Vegimals whenever they ask. It's not uncommon to see one of the Octonauts cuddling a tiny baby Vegimal while they do their jobs and the Baby Vegimal is just nuzzling into their neck and giving them encouragement and kissing them when they do their job well.

Peso will give everyone and anyone coming into the Sick Bay cuddles. Whether it's to make them feel better after getting a scrape on the knee or when they have a fever. He'll go up to their bed, wrap his sweet flippers around them, give them a little kiss, and stay in their bed with them until they feel better, while praising them for "being such a good patient".

Whenever Pinto walks into their room, Peso will give his baby brother constant affection by calling him "peanut", "chick", etc. and giving him a gentle kiss while asking him how his day went.

Affectionate teasing is one of the more common forms of affection on the Octopod.

Kwazii and Tweak probably cross the line on this one, since they're always calling each other rude names and making up extremely cruel and sometimes profane insults for each other.

The two younger kids have a... gentler? method of teasing each other, specifically with the names "Pendejo", "Saumensch", etc. They'll always tease each other by saying they things like, "Your brain's so small Shellington can't even see it through his magnifying glass." But they always know that the other is only teasing, and at least it's better than whatever Kwazii and Tweak came up with.
