Things They Deny Doing

Even though everyone else knows they do it, there's always one thing some people on the Octopod insist they don't do.

Kwazii snores and sleep-talks loudly almost every night. He keeps insisting he doesn't, but the Captain can confirm that's a lie. He shares a pod with Kwazii, and every single night, he hears whatever Kwazii's doing in his sleep, and always, he can barely stop himself from laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of whatever Kwazii's doing.

Kwazii also denies that he's a complete softie. When Kwazii gave all the kids 10 bucks each to go and buy something for themselves, he started crying right there in the middle of the store when he realized the kids bought him a huge pirate flag and a pirate ship model, and when Tweak asked him if he was crying, he was like "*sniffle* i'M nOt CrYiNg, YoU'rE cRyIng."

Whenever Peso's in around anyone else, he always denies liking some little kids show that he watches with the Vegimals cos he's kinda embarrassed by it, but everyone on the Octopod and all the Octo-Agents think it's absolutely adorable. Paani even decided to watch with Peso and the Vegimals one night, and they spent a good 2 hours cuddling on the couch with the Vegimals while they watched "Sesame Street".

Every night after Dashi puts her sisters to bed, she gets as much ice cream and candy as she can carry from the kitchen to the Launch Bay, and she and Tweak will watch a movie or binge watch a show. Her sisters know this happens, but Dashi always pretends like it doesn't, but no one really believes her.

Shellington is notoriously clumsy, and when he falls down, he always tries to deny it happened if he can. Such as when the Captain walked into the lab to find Shellington face down on the floor cos he face planted after tripping on his own feet, and when the Captain asked if he was OK, Shellington said yes, and he was only tired. This kinda backfired on him because the Captain insisted on tucking him into bed and waiting until he fell asleep to leave.

Tweak denies being a softie, but everyone knows she is. Every night when a kid or Kwazii goes into her room at night and inevitably falls asleep on her lap, she'll always pause whatever she's doing, and she'll just hold them for a little bit and appreciate how still and quiet they are for once and how cute and sweet they look while their asleep before carrying them or getting the Captain to carry them back to their bed.

She always denies she does this, but Dashi has walked in on her giving Kwazii kisses on the head after he fell asleep in her lap, and Kwazii's walked in on her tucking the kids into her own bed, so no one believes one word of it.
