Responsibility For Others' Things

Putting someone on the Octopod in charge of looking after someone's things is not particularly intelligent, especially if they're Kwazii or Shellington.

Paani had to learn this the hard way when he gave his paddleboard to Kwazii for five minutes while he ran off with Shellington to look at some bacteria in the water. He returned to Kwazii sitting on his paddleboard in the middle of the Launch Bay without the paddle (he dropped it and it sank and he couldn't get it back.) They had to rescue him with Tweak's and the Captain's help. 

Dashi gave her phone to Inkling to hold for five seconds while she helped the Captain with a computer. In those five minutes, Inkling managed to accidentally project Dashi's camera roll (plus tons of photos of all the celebrity crushes she had since she was a teenager.)

Whenever Shellington is given something important to hold, he holds it super awkwardly and clutches it as tight as he can because he's afraid that he might break it.

This doesn't bode well, especially when he's having tea with Inkling and he breaks like 5 teacups because he was holding them a little too tightly. Inkling has even resorted to giving Shellington tea in a plastic cup as opposed to a porcelain teacup to keep him from breaking any more.

Whenever the baby Vegimals are left in charge of anything, the cuties will treat it like it's their baby and will never let it out of their sight and will give it cuddles every five minutes to make sure it's OK.

Tweak trusts no one with her tools minus Dashi, well, there was that one time Dashi stuck glitter all over her wrenches and it took Tweak three hours to wash all of it off, but shh, no need to mention it.
