Missing Each Other

Since everyone loves each other so much, they constantly miss each other whenever they're away from each other for more than 1 day (or 1 minute in the Vegimals' case)

Whenever Shellington leaves the room for a minute, his babies start missing their "daddy". The babies and once Shellington returns, all of them will pile on him and give him cuddles and kisses because "Shellydo" came back.

The first time Shellington and Dashi went down to the Octo-Lab, he was extremely worried that his babies might be sad that he was leaving them for a few weeks and they'd miss him terribly. When they saw "Daddy Shellydo" leaving in the Gup-A (with Peso driving him and Dashi for obvious reasons), all the Vegimals ran out to him with their arms out, and they ended up leaving an hour later than they wanted cos they had to give all the babies hugs and reassure them that Shellington would be back in a few weeks.

Fortunately, the Captain offered to take them for those few weeks, and to prevent the babies from getting too sad cos Shellington left, he read them stories and let them all sit in his lap for cuddles whenever they wanted and he video-called Shellington every night so the cuties could say hi to their "Daddy".

Shellington missed his babies too. He even kept a picture of all his babies under his pillow that he looked at every night. He even cried the first night cos he missed his "children" so badly, and Dashi gave him cuddles all night to make him feel better.

Tweak missed Dashi more than life. When Dashi was gone, she missed her "bestie" so much, and the night before Dashi left, she and Dashi had a sleepover, and she gave Dashi 50,000,000 hugs cos she'd miss her so badly, and after Dashi left, she cried in her room for hours until Kwazii came down, lay in her lap, and started purring to make her feel better.

When the kids left for college as adults, everyone missed them terribly.

The day Pinto left for Medical School, Peso was a mess. He cried for hours, and that night, the Captain cuddled with him and watched his favorite movies with him to make him feel better.

The day each of the kids moved out, their guardians called them every five minutes to make sure they were OK and insisted they visit soon. None of the guardians willingly let their "little one" go until someone peeled them off.

After each of the kids left, Kwazii and Tweak cried cos their "babies" were all grown up, but they still remembered the tiny little ones who idolized them and thought they were so cool.
