However much everyone loves each other, they do "mildly dislike" each other from time to time and have some interesting ways of subtly hinting at it.

Although Tweak and Kwazii never "subtly" hint at it. Whenever Kwazii leaps into the Launch Bay screaming for no good reason and wants to take the Gup out, she'll throw her tools at him and chase him out while threatening to hammer his tail into a paddle to spank him with.

Peso's always clever enough to pick up on others' subtle hints whenever they're having a "little disagreement" with someone else. 

He'll never yell or butt in too much, he'll just go up to both people who were having the disagreement, sit them down somewhere moderately quiet (Inkling's library when they've chased all the kids out and locked the door) give them both a big hug and tell them how he refuses to choose sides, but he wants them to stop fighting cos it's going to get them too worked up and he "doesn't want them to work themselves up over a little disagreement and forget how much they love each other". and they'll stop fighting for his sake cos he's just too sweet and well-meaning.

When Jane and Koshi were adults and living together (They didn't want to, Koshi was an author and Jane was a story-time animator on Youtube. Both of them were in college, and didn't have that much money; they had no choice.) They got on each other's nerves far too much, and Dashi wasn't there to stop them...

When Jane agreed to pick Koshi up from her author's convention on her way home from her meeting with her friend Bryson for a video collaboration, Koshi had asked her to pick her up a little later after Jane had already gotten there, so what Jane ended up doing was driving the car behind the convention center and watching Koshi attempt to find her from the alleyway. 

The Vegimals could never to anything to anyone out of spite, one, they're too sweet and love everyone too much; two, they're the Vegimals. Who could ever be that mean to them? If anyone is, you'll have to face everyone on the Octopod.
