The Logbook Pt. 2

Morning Rush

All mornings on the Octopod are complete madness from Kwazii eating all the food to a Vegimals getting stuck in a vent (again).

Getting everyone out of bed in under an hour is nearly impossible. There have been times where Kwazii has had to physically pry Tweak from the bed.

There's also the problem of when the kids decide they want to get up. On the weekends or whenever Inkling and Shellington give them a break from school, they decide to get up at around 5 or so in the morning because they can. When they DO have class, there's always a huge fight over the covers and it usually ends in their guardian dragging them out of bed.

Getting ready for the day is important, but impossible on the Octopod. There are so many people lined up to use the bathroom that Pinto has decided to bathe in the Launch Bay from now on.

It's far too easy to forget something on the Octopod in the mornings. There are so many people bustling around and so much happening that it's far too easy to lose something (and then never find it again once Kwazii hoards it in his room)

Peso has attempted to quell the chaos of the mornings a bit by writing up a schedule for who can have the bathroom to shower at what time, but it got annoying when the person after whoever was in the shower at the time would count down the minutes until it was their turn.

No matter how early everyone starts getting ready, they'll always be running late, and it's not uncommon for someone (Shellington) to leave with their nightcap, one slipper and one boot on and their shirt backwards.

The baby Vegimals are physically incapable of being swayed by all the chaos happening around them in the mornings. The Captain has once bursted into the room with the accordion and began playing (because it was World Accordion Day) Everyone immediately tried covering their ears discreetly so the Captain wouldn't notice (he noticed) but the baby Vegimals only giggled and gave the Captain a "good morning" snuggle
