Car Seats

No one could ever stand the thought of something bad happening to someone they love on the Octopod, so everyone does everything they can to keep each other safe and out of harm's way including this.

After the Captain heard about how car seats are safer for children below age 12 to sit in, he immediately ordered 17 car seats; 12 for the Vegimals, 4 for the kids, and one for Peso cos Peso was his baby and he couldn't bear the thought of what happened if Peso was too small for the adult seats, so he ordered Peso one too.

The Captain insisted on tightening and fastening all the car seat straps for his babies, and fussed over them endlessly.

All the baby Vegimals thought the straps and everything about the car seat was so cool, and loved their new "toy" while Peso just blushed and very nicely asked the Captain to loosen the straps and all the kids wriggled around to no end, and said that they weren't babies and didn't need car seats anymore. The Captain only kissed their heads softly and explained why he wanted them to be in car seats.

When it was time to put the car seats into the car, Tweak could be heard cussing for miles around. It was that hard to put in.

She didn't want extra pay for it like the Captain offered, but she actually wanted to see KWAZII ride in one of the car seats.

She used the reasoning that if Kwazii was in a car seat, then the kids would be more open to the idea of riding in one.

It was really only to humiliate Kwazii.
