Octo-Instincts

Some things on the Octopod have happened so many times that the way people react to them becomes instinct.

Such as when Inkling hears little feet sprinting down the hallway. Even after the time Kwazii thought it would be funny to show him "Child's Play", he thought the idea it was Chucky was "prepostorous", and immediately knew who it was, so whenever he hears tiny footsteps running down the hallway, you'll always hear, "Jane, Pinto, no running please." coming from the library.

The one time it was Koshi, she was slightly offended when Inkling called her by her sister's name by mistake.

Whenever Peso meets another cat and they do something nice for him, he has to stop himself from telling them, "Good kitty" and scratching them behind the ears cos it's what he always does for Kwazii.

If the Octonauts ever go into a dark place, the Captain will immediately pick Peso up and cuddle him so he isn't scared of it.

Kwazii has learned which tools hurt most when he's hit over the head with them, you will never guess why.

Dashi and Tweak instinctively know when the other needs a hug, so now they both get periodic hugs and "I love you"s throughout the day.

The baby Vegimals instinctively know when "Shellydo" or anyone else needs food, and will bring them a snack while smiling and chattering happily, and whoever they brought food to will let the cuties sit in their laps while they work.

The Captain has even been caught baby-talking and playing with the cuties while bouncing them up and down in his lap once.

Everyone on the Octopod has the instinct to quickly get food and run before Kwazii eats it all.

Leftovers NEVER last long. Usually, Kwazii will eat them all at like midnight cos he got hungry.
