The Logbook Pt. 2

Public Spaces

Going into public spaces on land sounds fun for the Octonauts, but it descends into chaos by the 5 second mark. All the members of the humongous Octonauts Party feel bad for anyone in the vicinity.

Usually, everyone who has to stand in line behind the Octonauts group for a resteraunt or anything like that is already about to die from shock and frustration. The last thing anyone needs when they're in a hurry is to be stuck in a line behind 23 people.

The Octonauts are always the center of attention anywhere they go on land. I'm not sure if it's because there are so many of them, the Vegimals are so cute, Kwazii was being, well, Kwazii, or Tweak was yelling at Kwazii to take his smelly tail off of her seat, or the infinite amount of other possibilities.

Embarassing each other in public is too common. Once one of Inkling's friends from the US and Min was going to take the Octonauts group on an Early United States Educational tour. You already know how this is gonna end.

One name: Hamilton. The friend of Inkling's was trying to make it as fun as he could for the kids by asking them to answer questions and do some hands-on stuff with him. It took 2 activities before one of them mentioned Hamilton and embarrassed Inkling greatly.

It turns out that the friend actually quite liked Hamilton, so Inkling got tortured for the next 5 hours and a half with all 48 songs from Hamilton. But his friend was actually super impressed at what good singers the kids were.

Peso was basically the mom of the group the whole time and had a whole big bag with everything everyone would ever need for the trip cos he wants to be "ready for anything" ;). But the bag is huge, Peso is tiny, and he ends up practically dragging it on the floor. Of course, Captain Daddy comes to the rescue and takes the bag from him and carries it while holding Peso's flipper the whole time while Peso insists that he can walk on his own.

The baby Vegimals' tiny little feet-flipper thingies get tired after walking for very short distances, so the Captain and "Daddy Shellydo" carry the cuties. The Captain usually ends up carrying most of the cuties cos Shellington carrying 5 Vegimals combined with his lack of coordination isn't going to end well. The Vegimals love being carried and will snuggle up to "Daddy Cappy and Daddy Shellydo."

The Captain will insist on carrying each and every member of his crew and all the kids for a while so their legs won't get too tired along with the Vegimals.

In the end, everyone put their feet down, and bought one of those huge strollers and made him sit in it while they rolled him around cos HE needed a break too.
