Chapter 183: An Evening with the Perry Family Part 2

While Nikki had been upstairs, course I'd been worried about Josephine...had been. Hell, we all were, and at the same time I had that feeling things would turn out ok. I knew Hunter would calm Josephine down, center her......and there was a moment too, where I felt that Nikki was thinking like I was that she'd found her soulmate. Now, now I am relieved to see her happy again.... See her calm and I can tell Hunter WAS nervous about meeting all of us together, but now I can tell he's not. He & Josephine balance each other......just like Nikki & I.

And the words Josephine has just uttered.... are very much true, they give us hope & it's plain for us all to see......her & Hunter are falling in love, hell they ARE in love.

Nikki is now at my side, leaning against me....as I slide a free arm around his waist.

"It's good to see you again...Hunter. You're very much welcome here." I state, gathering everyone's attention.

"I love that..." Quietly as his eyes meet mine before drifting back to Josephine. "Thank you, Mr. Perry. Means a lot."

"Your welcome and I know it does....and its more than ok to call me Joe."

"Hang out with Josephine & everyone.... Joe & I will work on dinner." Nikki states & so we do....as Hunter staying close by Josephine' side, talks more with my other children, Nikki & I listen in......

"Thank you for helping Josey.... I'm like SO glad that she has you." Frankie says seriously & then says, "We've always called her 'Josey' cause when we learned to talk, it was easier to say. It's just HER."

"Least I could do, and I am glad I have her too.... she's the most amazing person I know." Here his look shifts to Josephine," ---Always will be my best friend, always."

Hunter relaxes more & more, Tony, James, Amara, Frankie telling him stories about Josephine, him patiently & eagerly answering their questions & telling his own stories many of which include Josephine, all the while Nikki & I continue to fix dinner.

He fits in so well with our family, he really does.... He is perfect for Josephine. My little girl, not so little.... falling in love....so very much in love, she will see that one day soon.... Her & Hunter both will.

Before long dinner is done, Hunter insists on helping set the table & dish everything up, and we all gather at the table. Me as always touching some part of Nikki, getting Storm settled in her chair.... her insisting on Nikki feeding her as we all get started eating & of course making conversation.... Josephine & Hunter continually glance at one another.... until...

"Josephine talks about you all so much, that I hope you'll not mind me saying. I feel as if I know you all." Hunter speaks up, gaining mine & Nikki's attention especially as he looks to us before looking at Josephine & back.

"Josey has always been like that. Doesn't matter what she's going through, she's always there....and it goes both ways." Amara says it is getting a bit emotional. "She's like the sweetest kindest most awesome person on the planet." Amara adds on & Tony, James, Frankie & Storm echo her.

"Guys..." Josephine says, clearly touched. And the way she says it, well says it all.

"She's told us that Queen is tossing around ideas for a celebration for their 35th anniversary, next year?" My beloved honey-bee Nikki asks Hunter.

"Yes Nikki.... anything they do is over the top. One of the biggest ideas involves a tribute concert of sorts at Wembley in London. & Correct me if I am wrong but is it not also Aerosmith's 35th anniversary as well? Plus, Josephine tells me just 2 years away from a quarter century of the Crϋe."
