Owls of Delivery

Sasuke woke up early and left the infirmary heading to the common room to take a shower and change. As he entered, he could hear the whispers of other students discussing what had happened the night before.

Astoria, who was talking with Tiffany and Mildred, noticed his arrival and called out to him.

Astoria: SASUKE! - She shouted.

Everyone in the room turned their attention to the emo and began to applaud.

Students: THE CHAMPION OF SLYTHERIN! - They cheered.

One student exclaimed: THE STUDENT WHO CAPTURED SIRIUS BLACK AND PETER PETTIGREW!

Sasuke was confused, not understanding how his housemates had found out so quickly. He hadn't considered that some of his classmates' parents worked in important positions at the Ministry and that others had a close relationship with the Minister of Magic.

Meanwhile, in an office, Severus Snape was making a decision.

Snape: I don't know if it's wise to keep him at Hogwarts. He was reckless and could have killed us all; he could have killed Lily's son. If the Uchiha hadn't pulled him away from the others, I don't even want to imagine what could have happened. If I hadn't arrived in time to help the Uchiha during the fight, he might have died too. All of this because he didn't take the damned potion. I won't allow him to stay, because after this incident, how can I be sure he'll take the potion? - He thought.

Snape: I know what I have to do. - He said, standing up and heading to the Great Hall.

An hour later, the Great Hall was filled with students talking among themselves about the news Professor Snape had just shared.

Snape: The Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Remus Lupin, is a werewolf.

In the infirmary, Hagrid went to visit Harry, Ron, and Hermione to tell them what had happened with Professor Lupin.

Hagrid: By now, I think everyone at Hogwarts knows. Professor Lupin is a werewolf, and last night he transformed and was roaming the school grounds. Right now, he must be packing his bags.

Harry: Why is he packing his bags? - He asked, alarmed.

Hagrid: Because he's leaving. The first thing he did this morning was hand in his resignation letter. He said he couldn't risk this happening again.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione rushed out of the infirmary to look for Professor Lupin.

Ron: Where should we look first? - He asked while running.

Hermione: He's probably in his office or at the castle's main entrance. - She said as she ran.

Harry: You guys go to the exit. I'm heading to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. - He said, speeding up and leaving them behind.

Harry arrived at the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom and watched as Professor Lupin finished packing his bag.

Lupin: I knew you were coming. - He said, smiling and pointing to the parchment on the table.

Harry: I just ran into Hagrid, and he told me you resigned. It's not true, is it?

Lupin: I'm afraid it is.

Harry: Why? - He asked.

Lupin: I'm sorry, Harry, but because of my condition and last night's incident, I have to go.

Harry: You're not leaving just because of that.

Lupin: Tomorrow, around this time, the parents' owls will start arriving... They won't want a werewolf teaching their children, Harry. And after last night, I understand. I could have bitten one of you... This can never happen again.

Harry: You're the best Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher we've ever had. Don't leave.

Lupin: I'm sorry, but I have to go. - He said, walking toward the door. - I'm no longer your teacher, so I don't feel guilty about giving this back to you. It's not useful to me, and I dare say you, Ron, and Hermione will find it useful. - He said, handing a parchment to Potter.

Harry received the parchment with a smile as he watched Lupin leave.

That same day, the exam results were posted on the notice board.

Sasuke and Hermione had achieved perfect scores in all their exams, standing out as the top students in their respective years.

Percy received the highest scores in the N.E.W.T.s, while Fred and George each earned several O.W.L.s. Slytherin House had won the House Cup for the second consecutive year.

Their victory was undeniable. They had earned points for the Quidditch Cup and, above all, because Sasuke Uchiha captured Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew.

The Great Hall was decorated with green and silver ornaments. The Slytherin table was the loudest of all. They celebrated as they ate and drank; Draco was chatting happily with his companions.

An owl flew into the Great Hall with a package, drawing everyone's attention. It was nighttime, and it was unusual for owls to deliver mail at this hour.

The owl dropped the package on the Slytherin table; Sasuke caught it before it fell. By its shape, everyone knew it was a broomstick, but they were amazed when the emo opened the wrapping.

It was a Firebolt. Some Slytherins admired the broom while others asked Sasuke how he had gotten it. He simply said he bought it.

The Slytherins questioned why he hadn't bought it before to use against Gryffindor.

Sasuke: Because it wasn't worth it. It wasn't necessary, as I knew we would win.

Those words echoed throughout the Great Hall. Students from other houses were angry, while others were impressed by the emo. All the Gryffindor students looked at the Slytherin table with expressions of hatred, including Ron and Hermione.
