Sasuke and Hermione were sitting at the table, looking at the menu and thinking about what to order when they heard Dumbledore's voice echoing through the hall.

Dumbledore: Pork chops, he said, and the ribs appeared in front of him. Everyone, realizing they just needed to say the name of the dish, began to place their orders. Meanwhile, Fleur Delacour was chatting with Roger Davis, criticizing Hogwarts' decorations.

Fleur: This is nothing, she said, surveying the Great Hall. The Beauxbatons Palace at Christmas is decorated with ice sculptures, diamond statues, top-quality food, and the nymphs sing in a choir while we eat. Unlike this horrible decoration. At Beauxbatons, those dreadful poltergeists aren't allowed, she said arrogantly.

Roger stared at her blankly, as if she were speaking the most beautiful words in the world. Harry had the impression that Roger was more preoccupied with admiring Fleur's beauty than understanding what she was saying.

Roger: You're absolutely right.

When dinner ended, Dumbledore stood up and asked the students to do the same. With a wave of his wand, all the tables aligned against the wall, clearing space in the hall. With another wave, a stage with various instruments appeared in another part of the hall.

Everyone began to applaud wildly as the band The Esquisitonas took the stage. They all had long hair and were dressed very modernly, in black robes full of rips and openings.

The lights in the hall began to dim, with the brightest spots being the center of the Great Hall and the champions' table.

Sasuke: Let's go, he whispered to Hermione. It seems we have to dance now.

Hermione stood up, and The Esquisitonas began to play a slow melody. Sasuke led Hermione to the brightest part, placed his hands on her waist, and began to move.

Sasuke: This isn't as bad as I thought, he mused while dancing slowly with Hermione.

Other students began to join the champions on the dance floor. Neville and Ginny were dancing together; Hermione noticed that Ginny frequently made pained expressions, probably because Neville stepped on her feet a lot during the dance. Dumbledore was dancing with Madame Maxime. Being shorter than her, the tip of the hat he wore reached Madame Maxime's chin, but she moved with quite an elegance despite her height. Moody was dancing awkwardly with Professor Sinistra, who looked frightened of being stomped by Moody's wooden leg.

Sasuke felt relieved when the music ended. Everyone started applauding and returned to their seats; he immediately let go of Hermione.

The band started playing again, and Sasuke's fans began approaching him to ask for a dance. He noticed this and took Hermione back to the dance floor. Hermione realized he was just using her to avoid the other girls.

Sasuke explained that the others were very annoying; ever since they mentioned the ball, they hadn't left him alone. He said he sometimes needed to hide in the owlery because he couldn't focus on his homework. Hermione mentioned she had gone through something similar in the library; Viktor Krum had entered, and a crowd of girls appeared behind him.

Hermione: You know, Krum also asked me to accompany him, but I refused because I had already made plans with you, she said while dancing with Sasuke.

Sasuke: That's why I said you're a person of your word. Did you give Potter any information about the egg? he asked.

Hermione: Yes, we're still trying to find a way for him to pass the task. It's been harder than I thought.

Sasuke: Good luck with that. I already know what to do for the task.

They continued dancing for a while and only stopped when they saw the obsessed fans retreating while glaring furiously at Hermione.

The Slytherins hadn't uttered the word "blood traitor" since Sasuke's first year, and after seeing him defeat the dragon so easily, they didn't want to have him as an enemy. Malfoy no longer mocked Hermione because he knew his father's warnings about Sasuke were real. After they stopped dancing, Sasuke went to get drinks while Hermione took a break.

Hermione approached Harry and Ron's table and sat in the chair that Parvati had vacated; she was a bit breathless from dancing.

Harry: Hi, Hermione, he said with a smile. Ron, who was next to him, said nothing.

Hermione: It's hot, isn't it? she asked while fanning herself with her hands. Sasuke went to get some drinks.

Ron: Sasuke, he said irritably. Has he still not asked you to call him 'dear'?

Hermione: What's wrong with you? she asked, confused.

Ron: If you don't know, he said sarcastically, I'm not going to tell you.

Hermione looked confused and glanced at Harry, who also looked perplexed and just shrugged.

Hermione: Ron, what...? she was interrupted by the redhead.

Ron: He's a Slytherin, he shouted angrily. He's still competing against Harry. You... you're... fraternizing with the enemy. And that's what you're doing, Hermione, he said, annoyed, watching Hermione become indignant.

Hermione: Don't be stupid; he's not our enemy, she said, irritated. I can't understand your anger, Ron. He also belongs to Hogwarts and is a Muggle-born like me, she stated, but Ron ignored her words.

Ron: I suppose he asked you to be his partner in the library when the two of you were alone.

Hermione: That's right, she said, slightly blushing. So what?

Ron: Were you trying to convince him to join Dumbledore's Army?

Hermione: No, I wasn't, she said, irritated.

Ron: His intentions are pretty clear. He's a Snape student; he's clearly getting close to you to get information about what Harry is going to do in the second task, so he can take him down.

Hermione reacted as if Ron had slapped her in the face.

Hermione: For your information, he never asked any questions about Harry, she said, her voice trembling.

Ron: So he wants you to help him prepare for the task. I bet you thought of something together during those wonderful intimate sessions in the library.

Hermione: I would never help him, she said indignantly. I'm doing this to help Harry, she said, offended. How can you say something like that? I want Harry to win the tournament. Harry knows that, doesn't he, Harry?

Hermione: The tournament is precisely to meet foreign wizards and make friends with them, Hermione said, her voice high-pitched.

Ron: It's not, he said angrily. It's TO WIN, he shouted.

People were starting to look at them.

Harry: Ron, I don't mind Hermione coming with Uchiha, he said, but Ron didn't heed Harry's words.

Ron: Why don't you go look for Sasuke? He must be wondering where you are.

Sasuke suddenly appeared between Harry and Ron and released two white snakes that quickly coiled around both of them. Harry and Ron stood frozen in fear, feeling that if they moved, they would die. The entire hall fell silent; all the professors, directors, and students were paralyzed, not knowing how to react.

Sasuke: Since you said I'm your enemy, how about I kill you both right now?
