Boar's Head Inn:
Hermione: We think the reason Umbridge doesn't want to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts is because she's convinced herself that Dumbledore could use the students as some kind of private army to fight against the Ministry.
That news surprised everyone, except Luna.
Luna: Well, it makes sense. Cornelius Fudge has his own private army.
Harry: What... - he said, puzzled by this information.
Luna: He has an army of heliopaths.
Hermione: That's not true.
Luna: Of course it is. Sasuke believes me; we talked about it after I invited him to watch this meeting - Everyone was shocked to hear this. Harry and Ron were thinking the same thing, "who invited her? And why did she mention this meeting to a Slytherin?"
Luna: He said he wasn't interested, that it was a waste of his valuable time and that he had more important things to do.
Neville broke the silence - What are heliopaths?
Luna: They are fire spirits - she said, more animated - they're huge creatures.
Hermione: Those don't exist, Neville.
Ginny: Ahem, ahem - she gained everyone's attention - weren't we trying to decide how often we were going to meet for the lessons?
Hermione: Yes, you're right, Ginny. First, we need to find a place to meet and practice. Once we find a place, we'll send owls to everyone - she said, pulling a parchment from her bag. - We think everyone should write their names so we know who's going to participate. And most importantly, we shouldn't mention this to anyone outside of this group. If you sign, you're agreeing not to tell anyone about these meetings, especially Umbridge.
Fred grabbed the parchment and signed, but Harry noticed that several students present didn't seem very eager to sign, though, in the end, everyone did.
Meanwhile, in the forest, Sasuke was channeling the air around him. He was recalling all the wind-style users he knew or had seen, but the only ones that came to mind were Naruto and Danzo.
Naruto didn't use hand signs, and Danzo mostly just inhaled the air. The only time he used hand signs was for the Shinkugyoku Jutsu (Wind Bullet), and the signs were rat, rabbit, and dog.
Thinking about this technique, Sasuke decided to channel the air around him.
Sasuke: WIND STYLE: SHINKUGYOKU JUTSU.
As he expected, the attack only went in one direction. He continued channeling the air to try and modify the technique, but so far, he had no success.
Night fell, and Sasuke decided to head back to the castle for dinner and to prepare for the next day's lessons.
The next day, all the students were gathered at the entrance to the Great Hall, where the notice board was located.
The new notice was printed in large black letters and had a very official-looking seal at the bottom, next to a fancy and clear signature.
BY ORDER OF THE HIGH INQUISITOR OF HOGWARTS
All student organizations, societies, teams, groups, and clubs are hereby disbanded. An organization, society, team, group, or club is hereby defined as a regular meeting of three or more students.
Permission to reestablish them must be sought from the High Inquisitor (Prof. Umbridge). No student organization, society, team, group, or club may exist without the knowledge and approval of the High Inquisitor.
Any student found to have organized or participated in a disbanded organization, society, team, group, or club without the approval of the High Inquisitor will be expelled.
The above is in accordance with Educational Decree Number Twenty-Four.
Signed: Dolores Jane Umbridge, High Inquisitor.
The atmosphere during breakfast was different. After all, all school groups or teams had to be dissolved. Draco and Flint were anxious and approached Sasuke.
Draco: Sasuke, did you see the notice?
Flint: Our Quidditch team is disbanded.
Sasuke calmly replied that they just needed to ask Umbridge for permission.
Sasuke: Don't panic. Your parents are friends with her and the Minister, so I don't think it'll be a problem.
At the Gryffindor table:
Harry: This can't be a coincidence - he said, clenching his fists. She knows.
Ron: No way.
Harry: Let's be realistic, we don't know for sure if we can trust everyone who's going to join the lessons. Any one of them could run and tell Umbridge what we're doing.
Ron: Maybe Luna Lovegood told Sasuke Uchiha, and he told Umbridge... That Michael Corner seemed suspicious too...
Harry: Do you think Hermione has seen this yet? - he asked, seeing Hermione approaching. They told her about the notice.
Ron: Someone spilled the beans.
Hermione: That's impossible - she muttered.
Ron: You're too naive.
Hermione: No, it's impossible because I jinxed the parchment they signed. If anyone had told Umbridge, we'd know, trust me.
Ron: What's going to happen to the person who rats us out? - he asked, intrigued.
Hermione: Well, to give you an idea, Eloise Midgeon's acne will look like freckles compared to the person who betrays us.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione were having breakfast when Neville, Dean, Fred, George, and Ginny arrived.
Fred: Did you guys see?
Dean: Do you think she knows?
George: What are you going to do?
Everyone looked at Harry. He looked around to make sure no teachers were nearby.
Harry: We're sticking to the plan.
George: I knew you'd say that - he said, smiling.
Fred: Do the Prefects agree too? - he asked, seeing them both nod.
Ron: Look, here come Ernie and Hannah Abbott - he said, looking across the hall. - Some Ravenclaws are coming too, along with Smith.
Hermione seemed alarmed. They couldn't meet now; it would be too suspicious. She motioned for them to walk away. They understood the signals and returned to their table.
Ginny: I'll talk to Michael - she said impatiently, walking away. - Honestly, how dumb can he be?
She rushed to the Ravenclaw table. Harry was looking at Cho, who was sitting next to Cedric. She seemed worried about the announcement.
But he didn't realize the full impact of the announcement until he left the Great Hall and headed to History of Magic class.
Harry! Ron!
It was Angelina; she ran towards them, looking absolutely desperate.
Harry: It's all right - he said quietly as she approached. - We're sticking to the plan.
Angelina: Do you realize that Quidditch is included in the ban? We have to ask permission to form the Gryffindor team and play again.
Harry: WHAT?
Ron: No way!
Angelina: I just read the notice. Listen, Harry... I'm warning you one last time... please, don't lose your temper with Professor Umbridge again, or she won't let us play anymore.
Harry: Okay - he said, since Angelina looked on the verge of tears. - Don't worry, I'll behave.
