It wasn't just the students; the portraits scattered throughout the castle and even the ghosts wanted to know what had happened underwater. They wanted to know if the "Hostages" were telling the truth.

Hermione began to be teased by the Gryffindor girls because, according to them, she had become the most admired person by the emo. On the other hand, the Slytherin girls lamented not inviting the emo. They thought he would go with Luna and were also afraid of what their parents would say when they found out they were going to the ball with a Muggle-born.

Sasuke felt that this fame was growing more and more. No matter where he was in the castle, there was always someone staring at him.

Almost all the Hogwarts students were sure that the emo was going to win. Some students claimed they saw Karkarov insulting the Durmstrang students, except for Krum.

Karkarov was irritated. Many students thought that the outcome of the second task was a harsh blow to him, as Durmstrang had basically lost the qualification to compete in the championship.

Minerva and Snape were in the headmaster's office with Dumbledore. The three were discussing Sasuke's performance. Minerva and Snape said he had a lot of talent for his age. Dumbledore, on the other hand, was concerned. He mentioned that Sasuke resembled Tom Riddle, which alarmed the other two, as they knew Dumbledore was referring to Voldemort.

Former Headmaster Phineas Black complained, saying that Slytherin didn't only produce Dark wizards. Dumbledore said he had investigated Sasuke but found nothing linking him to the magical world.

This surprised all the former headmasters, as they were unaware of this information. Phineas Black was very surprised to learn that a Muggle-born was in Slytherin. Dumbledore became pensive and decided to speak with the Sorting Hat to ask for its opinion.

The Hat said that Sasuke was somewhat different from Tom Riddle, but that his ambition surpassed it. What surprised everyone the most was that the Hat declared Sasuke qualified for all four houses. This was something rare; normally, a student would be selected for at most two houses.

It was the first time in history, since the founding of Hogwarts, that this had happened, and in the end, the Hat decided to send him to Slytherin. Phineas, despite being very surprised and a bit annoyed, was pleased that this year's Triwizard Tournament champion was a Slytherin.

When Dumbledore discovered that Sasuke had a vault in his name that he had opened himself, he asked the goblins to send him a document detailing Sasuke's blood analysis. It was difficult, but he managed to obtain it in the end.

The document stated that Sasuke was not connected to any of the Sacred 28 families, nor to any pure-blood wizarding family from past generations. He was 100% Muggle-born.

Dumbledore said they needed to keep an eye on him and guide him. He passed this task to Snape. The hooked-nosed professor complained, but Dumbledore said he knew Sasuke didn't like him and that Sasuke noticed the favoritism both he and Minerva had for Harry.

Minerva: It's true. He found out that I was the one who gave Harry a Nimbus 2000. He revealed this to the other Gryffindors last year. For that reason, I had to buy five Nimbus 2001 brooms to show that I don't have favorites.

After a few more discussions, both heads of house departed, and Dumbledore continued to converse about his concerns with the portraits of the former headmasters.

Dilys Derwent: We are worried too, Albus.

Armando Dippet: From what I could see, the boy knows how to fight. He is kind when he wants to be and cruel when provoked or when it suits him.

Dexter Fortescue: But what I don't understand is why his victims don't report to the professors or to you, Albus. It's probably because he has that emotionless expression that repels anyone.

Phineas Nigellus Black: Nonsense. Stop slandering him just because he is from Slytherin. This boy is the fresh blood that Slytherin needs, as today's students are a bunch of fools who think they are superior because of their families, but are actually weak and useless.

Dexter Fortescue: But this boy is a Muggle-born. Salazar must be turning in his grave for having a Muggle-born in his house.

Phineas Nigellus Black: Salazar would be pleased, as our house values cunning and ambition. This new generation of pure-bloods is disappointing. Sasuke Uchiha is the light that Salazar Slytherin's house has been needing. Now, the flame of rivalry will grow, prompting the other students to strive to improve as well.

Dumbledore: But don't you also think this would set a precedent?

Headmasters: What do you mean?

Dumbledore: The first Dark wizard was a pure-blood, Gellert Grindelwald. The second Dark wizard was a half-blood, Tom Riddle. Perhaps the next Dark wizard will be a Muggle-born. I'm not certain of his circumstances, but the power he possesses is abnormal, that we must admit.
