Weeks Earlier

Rufus Scrimgeour, a veteran Auror who was used to giving orders and expecting them to be followed—no matter how irrational—found himself unable to achieve the desired results. However, since Sasuke Uchiha took over the leadership of the Auror office, the outcomes had become evident. Initially, he was resistant to the idea of taking orders from a young man.

Yet Sasuke's innovative ideas and his strategies as countermeasures against the Death Eaters proved to be highly effective. Moreover, he didn't look down on those considered inferior; the ideology among wizards had always been to disdain Muggles, house-elves, and other marginalized beings. Sasuke discovered a way to empower them to fight as well.

Eventually, Rufus came to recognize Sasuke as someone worthy of trust and respect. Now, he had a specific task assigned to him: training mercenaries against magic and overseeing the operation of helicopters, as he understood that the concentration of magic could cause Muggle artifacts to malfunction.

At first, he opposed the idea and argued with Sasuke:

Rufus: Mr. Uchiha, we can't make Muggle weapons function; it would be too dangerous.

Sasuke: How so?

Rufus: If these solutions leak, we could spark another war, but this time against Muggles. Grindelwald predicted this; it was the catalyst that initiated a war.

Sasuke: Scrimgeour, you forget that we need every bit of power we can muster. Our numbers are small compared to Voldemort's. Besides, do you think I haven't considered that?

Rufus: No... I, well...

Sasuke: That's why I had everyone sign a magical contract, which prohibits them from sharing any information by any means. Furthermore, when this is all over, their memories will be wiped due to the magical contract they signed. As for the Muggle Minister, he is under an Unbreakable Vow; if he breaks it, he dies. He doesn't know this detail, and I prefer it stays that way.

At the base, Rufus kept the mercenaries training, whether practicing with their weapons or engaging in hand-to-hand combat. He then taught them magic, explaining the spells they could use against opponents. He conducted demonstrations and asked for volunteers; for the Unforgivable Curses, he used rodents or frogs. Since the group was large, the lessons were divided into smaller classes. He also provided information about giants, werewolves, and Dementors.

The technical teams, consisting of both house-elves and some Muggle technicians (mercenaries), were trying to make the helicopters operational, as the circuits were short-circuiting due to the magic concentration created by the house-elves. They had to start over with trial-and-error tests, but they had a foundation since the older artifacts functioned without many electronic components.

At night, the mercenaries would go out with the elves to observe the confrontations between Aurors and Death Eaters from safe distances. They needed to acclimate themselves to magical duels.

A Few Months Ago

To the west of London, all the Death Eaters trembled in fear of their master's wrath, for not only had they lost most of their inner circle, but all their attacks were being thwarted. The only thing that calmed their master's fury after the loss of Bellatrix and Rabastan Lestrange was the information that no gold cup had been found at the scene. It seemed that Bellatrix had stored it in her vault at Gringotts before attacking Minister Bones. Furthermore, no one could access the Lestrange vault except a relative or heir. With no direct heirs (children), the vault would pass to another Lestrange. However, there were none left in the United Kingdom, so they could only wait for the goblins at Gringotts to locate one abroad.

Returning to the present, Voldemort was pleased.

Voldemort: My loyal Death Eaters, rejoice! The project I have been working on has finally come to fruition. The Ministry employees think they have us cornered, but they are mistaken. I will show them the error they made in opposing me.

All the Death Eaters shouted in support.

Death Eater 1: Tell us what to do, master.

Death Eater 2: We are here to serve you.

Voldemort: We will strike where it hurts them most—their children. We will attack Hogsmeade.

He raised his wand, and a metallic box levitated and stood before them. Inside, roars and scratching sounds emerged.

Everyone trembled with excitement and fear at what lay within.

Voldemort: My Death Eaters, I present to you the key piece of my project. Thanks to it, I have obtained more of them.

All eyes remained fixated on the box, eager to discern its contents.

Voldemort: Its debut will be in Hogsmeade. This will be an honor for the students and residents of that place. It seems you wish to meet it, don't you?

Several Death Eaters, stretching their necks to get a better look, instinctively recoiled.

Voldemort waved his wand, and the box opened, revealing a werewolf.

Several screamed in horror and backed away, but the werewolf remained motionless. Some calmed down.

Death Eater 4: How is this possible? It's still daytime.

Death Eater 5: Isn't it necessary to have a full moon?

Voldemort pointed at a Death Eater and said, "Approach him."

Death Eater 6: Master, I... I... I...

Voldemort: Just step closer.

Death Eater 6 approached, but the werewolf did not attack. As he looked closer, he noticed that its eyes were white.

Voldemort: Don't worry; he won't attack his allies. He doesn't tire, doesn't sleep, and isn't hungry; he only lives to receive orders. Soon, we will have an army of them, but for Hogsmeade, one will suffice. Moreover, our spies have sent us all the necessary information.

Everyone celebrated the upcoming attack as they prepared.

Voldemort approached the werewolf and said, Rejoice, soon you will return to Hogsmeade to meet your precious students.
