The next day, in the Great Hall, Sasuke continued to feel the stares from students of other houses as well as his own. Sometimes, in the common room, when he was present, everyone would fall silent; it felt like a powder keg waiting for someone to light the fuse.

Most of the Slytherin students didn't talk as they used to when he was around; they only exchanged a few words. Sasuke found this quite relaxing; the students weren't bothering him, allowing him to focus on his projects.

He got up from the Slytherin table and walked over to the Ravenclaw table so he and Luna could go to Charms class together. As he walked, everyone remained silent; the only one who said anything was Zacharias when Sasuke passed by the Hufflepuff table. Luna got up and left the Great Hall with Sasuke; waiting outside the Great Hall was Astoria.

The trio headed to class together and decided to sit together.

Flitwick: Good morning, students. This year, everyone should be aware of the importance of the O.W.L. exams. I hope you all take this seriously, as this exam will determine your futures. Before I forget, I would like to remind you that at the end of May, Professor McGonagall will be giving career guidance.

Flitwick: Well, let's begin the lesson. Today we will study the Silencing Charm.

Flitwick: Can anyone tell me what this charm is about?

Several students raised their hands.

Flitwick: Miss Turpin.

Turpin: As its name suggests, it's a charm to silence someone; it can be used on a person or an animal.

Flitwick: Correct, 5 points for Ravenclaw.

Flitwick: The Silencing Charm is an enchantment that temporarily mutes the victim; it works on both humans and animals.

Flitwick: This charm provides a significant advantage in duels if your opponent doesn't know how to cast non-verbal spells. The duration of this charm is one hour; however, the more experienced the wizard is, the longer the duration can be. The counter-charm is Finite Incantatem.

Flitwick: Now, let's practice the charm with these birds. Please each take a bird.

At the end of the lesson, Sasuke was the first to master the spell, managing it 30 minutes after the professor demonstrated it, earning 5 points. The students who managed to master the charm by the end of the lesson were Luna, Astoria, Turpin, Fawcett, Davier, Selwin, Flora, and Hestia Carrow; the others who couldn't would have to present a scroll about the charm.

During lunch, Sasuke received a letter with a note inside.

We need to talk; it's important. Meet me at the Astronomy Tower at 8:00 PM.

Sasuke glanced at the note and tucked it away, then left the Great Hall and headed to Transfiguration class.

McGonagall: Good afternoon, class. As you know, this year will be your turn to take the O.W.L. exams. I hope you study hard to achieve good grades, as this exam will determine your futures.

McGonagall: Now let's study the Vanishing Spell. Can anyone tell me what this spell is about?

Only one student raised their hand.

Minerva, seeing that no one else raised their hand, gave the floor to Sasuke.

Sasuke: The Vanishing Spell is a spell that makes animated and inanimate objects disappear. The name of the spell is Evanesco.

McGonagall: Correct, 5 points for Slytherin.

McGonagall: Very well, now let's practice the spell on these invertebrates. Each of you take a snail; since the snail has no bones, it will make the spell easier.

Two hours later, Sasuke managed to make the snail disappear on his second attempt, earning 10 points.

As he was the only one who succeeded, the professor assigned extra work to the others.

After dinner, the emo went to the library; he was reviewing some books to finish his assignments. He was accompanied by Astoria, Luna, Zacharias, and Daphne.

Astoria: Sasuke, what was that letter you received at lunch?

Zacharias: Did you get a love letter?

All the girls looked at the emo, eager for his response.

Sasuke: No, I don't even know who sent the letter. Whoever it was just put the initial of their name. I don't have time for this nonsense.

Hermione was in the Astronomy Tower, thinking about how she would talk to the emo about his past in Knockturn Alley. However, she didn't know what to do if he confirmed that all the information she had was true. She didn't know how she would react, but she felt in her heart that she needed to know the truth and hear it from him.

Sasuke: Only an idiot would meet with a stranger.

Everyone lamented for the person who was waiting; they knew they couldn't convince him to go.
