One Day Before

Hermione woke up, having been plagued by nightmares since she was nearly killed by Rodolphus Lestrange. She startled awake but then remembered how Sasuke had saved her. Her anxiety faded, and she felt herself blush again.

Her parents, Mónica and Wendell Granger, were worried about her; despite her silence, it was evident. She had dark circles under her eyes but claimed she had been studying late, even though they knew she was lying. To her parents, Hermione had never been good at lying.

Mónica: Why don't you come with me to the mall? We need to buy you some new clothes; you've grown a lot.

Hermione: But, Mom, I have to tidy up some things. I'm visiting my friends' house.

Mónica: Come on, you know your clothes are getting small. Let's also stop by Gringotts to exchange some money for galleons.

Wendell: Let's go; I'll drop you both off on my way to work.

Hermione: Alright.

Meanwhile, Sasuke, who was in a taxi heading to the mall, took out his phone and called the blacksmith to place an order for weapons and katanas. He asked the blacksmith to send the account details via text so he could make the deposit.

The blacksmith was considering changing businesses due to low sales, but his shop had been saved thanks to the emo. To him, the emo was just a rich kid who liked ninja weapons. He didn't care as long as the emo paid properly.

Sasuke arrived at the mall and headed to a clothing store. After buying shirts and pants, he went to a print shop and asked to have his clan symbol put on the shirts.

Then, he went to the supermarket to buy groceries, paying extra for them to be delivered to his home.

Now he just needed to go to the tailor, but he found himself out of money, so he decided to head to the bank.

Hermione and her mother were shopping for clothes, but Hermione refused to buy dresses; she only wanted sweaters and pants.

After leaving the store, they bought ice cream and sat at a table to talk.

Mónica: What's going on with you, Hermione? You've had dark circles under your eyes since you returned from Hogwarts.

Hermione: I've been studying late, Mom.

Mónica: I believed that at first, but last year you told us that in your fifth year you would take an important exam called O.W.L.s. Now you're in your sixth year, so there are no more O.W.L.s.

Hermione fell silent; the only excuse she had was that she was studying for exams.

Mónica: Is something bothering you, dear? You know you can tell me anything.

Hermione: ...

Hermione didn't know if she should tell her parents about what had happened at the Ministry of Magic because she knew they would probably forbid her from returning to Hogwarts.

Mónica: Maybe it's about love.

Hermione: What?

Mónica: Who do you like more, Harry or Ron, since they're the only names you mention at home?

Hermione: That has nothing to do with it.

Mónica: Isn't your concern that you don't know how your relationship with them will be if one of them doesn't reciprocate your feelings?
