Later that night while Jay and I are at the table talking Rick comes in sits down and says well u two are about to get the shock of ur lives.. we both look at him with our what are u talking about faces on .. I look at Jay he looks at me. We both turn back to Rick .. at this time Dee says mom wants u Melanie. I get up immediately and walk to my mom's room she says come in shut the door. So I do. Dee is sitting there with the face of wait for it .. my mom ask how things with u and Jason ? Ummm good . Not at all something expected to come out of my mom's mouth so I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop . Well Dee wants to move back in here to get away from Mike Tyson .. I laugh mom's funny sometimes. So I'm gonna give Her and the girls Jason's room . I freak out totally. Like what is she saying does she want him to move out ???? But u can't freak out on mom u just take it and go cry about it ... I'm looking at the floor now .. so that means Jay needs to move into ur room with u ..mom says .. I think I must have gotten a contact high in this room !!!! She did NOT just say that ... you want Jay and I to share a room ? I ask very calmly. . But I'm all in my head screaming at the top of my lungs ... oh Melanie please u two are all in each others beds when I'm not here anyway. U think I don't know that .. mom says .. I just sit there I'm not so sure about this .. I mean Tammie now lives with Joe and his parents allow them to sleep in the same bed . They have the whole up stairs of that house .. and I have two other friends who live with there boyfriends .non of which of these people are 18 yet. .. it's just common for teens to shack up at the parents house now. Wth? I'm different I'm not like that . MY MOM IS NOT LIKE THAT .. Dee says Melanie mom is OK with u and Jay staying in the same room . We know yall are all in puppy love ... she laughs. And yall have to be having sex by now ..NOPE !! we are not. .. my mom looks at me and says don't lie . I'm not lying. We have not had sex. We do other stuff and I'm not saying we are not close to having sex soon maybe ..but no we haven't yet . I say . Mom says OK well then do u want him sleeping in the bed with u every night or not. Yes I do . I say very low and shyly .. hoping mom don't hit .. OK then mom says. .... Dee says can we move him and all his stuff over to ur room tonight ,because the only time I can bring my stuff here and the girls stuff here is first thing in the morning while douch is at work .. and I know u sleep in very late. .. I look at my mom who calls the shots in this house .. she says yes yall go move him in Melanie's room . .. I walk out my mom's room just flabbergasted! !! Done .. I walk down the hall to my room and lay down on my bed ... Jay walks in and says u have to share that bed with me now so get on ur side. He is laughing. I look up all red faced and I know he knows I'm dying over here. .. I look up at him and ask am I being punked? He's still smiling. I think that's it. I'm being punked . So I just keep laying there .. Jay squats down be side me and says are u ok with this. .. ? Melanie look at me . I turn my head and look at him. Are u OK with this ? I shake my head yes ,but feel like any min they are all gonna say yes right. And burst out laughing at me .. I don't want to feel stupid . Jay walks out the room and is gone for about 10 mins.. and I think it's him coming back in the room. But it was Rick .. he comes all the way in my room and shuts the door. .he pulls the chair up toward the bed a Lil bit and says hey can we talk. I look over at him and he's looking at me like u poor Thang . I wait for him to talk .. Melanie if u don't feel comfortable with Jay being in ur room. Yall actually living together then I'll call this whole thing off right now. U did not have to agree with this. . U have a choice here .. Rick are yall all really serious. Is my mom of all mom's gonna let Jay sleep in this bed with me every night. I'm 16 Rick . She would never agree to this. ... Rick looks at me and says ... it was her idea. She told us to put him in ur room. She said yall do it all day and night when we aren't home. So what's the difference, yeah but next week she will be calling me a whore ! Rick is like Mel let me take care if ur mom. .. u just need to think about this . Do u want this or not. .. yes . I do .. OK. I'll talk to ur mom and I'll let Jay know he needs to come talk to u. .. he smiles and walks out. A few mins. Later Jay steps back in my room. Well our room now. .. Jay takes my hand and says it will not change anything baby. I promise. I look up at him like u have got to be kidding me. He says I love you baby. I say I love you too. Melanie do u want me living in the same room as u. ? Yes...
