That night when jay got home , we sit down for dinner and Jay says this looks familiar.  I look up at him and say yes .. we eat dinner and Jay go's to take a shower .. when he walks threw the dinning room where I'm still at the table figuring out school stuff ,he's in a towel .. holy smokes!! That boy just don't know what he does to me .. or does he? He's talking about something at work and I'm certain I'm looking like a tongue wagging dog .. he says something and I guess I missed it , he says baby ? Huh? I ask cuz well my hearing just ain't even working .. he laughs , are u listening to me at all ? He ask .um yeah ! I say .. he says I asked if u had plans this weekend .. no . Not yet .he says I'd like it if we could go see grandpa Saturday . I say absolute!  I tell jay that I've planned my birthday party for the next Saturday night at 6pm . And that Sam is making my invitations .. he says awesome.  I tell him that Sam and I spent the whole afternoon catching up . Jay smiles and says that's good. U haven't seen him in a while have u ? No I haven't . But we are still best friends and I will be hanging out with him more this school yr. Jay smiles .. Tammie walks in the house like she lives here ...oh wait she does . Jay is still in the towel.. jay says imma go find my clothes now . Tammie is laughing . She Sits down for dinner .. I'm starving ,Mel how was ur day I didn't see u much at school today . Oh u know first day back I had so much to take care of .. Tammie says we have to get on the prom commity ! Don't forget.  I know I talk to miss Dunn today she said we will handle it next week . OK good!  Tammie says I gotta work every day till then just to buy my dress.  We laugh . Someone is knocking on the door .. ?.... I answer it and the lady I was babysitting for last school year is standing there . I invite her in .. we sit down and talk for a while she needs me to keep her kids before school and after ... I agree and she leaves . Tammie is watching tv. Mel? You can't spread ur self too thin again this year we have a lot of school stuff this year !! Be careful hun. Says Tammie half looking at me and half looking at Jax on tv.  Jay walks in and says I agree with Tammie . I just look at jay .. what ? Baby .I just don't wanna see u so exhausted. U do too much and when ur in school  too it takes its tole on you. And me . He says while nuzzling up to me .. jay fresh from the shower and smells so dam good. His hair still wet . Wow I'm so certain he's the one for me .. the three of us sit and watch tv. This is comfort .. the way it should be . I'm happy . This week has flown by pretty quick , it's Friday ! And I'm in 3 period tapping my pen on my desk .. my phone just buzzed in my purse . I can't check it now. But need to remember to do that .. when the bell rings ,I walk straight to the girls bathroom I have to pee, and smoke ! This day has been busy I have so many things I'll have my hands in this school year! And I haven't even had lunch today .. I think I'm hungry.  I drink my Pepsi and smoke when my friend molly walks in .. she's all happy to see me . How have u been ? She ask . I'm good .I say and you? I'm good . She looks down at her belly and says I'm gonna be a momma . I think I just shit myself .. WHAT ?  She says yeah . She 17. Yrs old .. no no. No ! . As I'm walking back to class calculating my Last period! !! I'm good . But wow I just CAN NOT LET MYSELF GET PREGNANT! !!  She just gave me a reality check !! I'm on the pill . But ain't nothing fool proof .. uhhhhh I didn't need another worry ! At lunch today as I'm eating a bag of pretzels and having a minute maid apple juice , I'm thinking how much life has really changed over the latest year and a half .. I'm so different.  Or maybe I just know that the time has come for me to finally prepare to leave this place and start adulthood. .. so strange this place has been my life for so long .. and these are my people!   Who will we be become ?where will life take us ?wow deep thinking .. I see molly walk by with two trays of food .is giggle a Lil . Sam days what's so funny . I'm so not one to gossip. So I tell him I'm just laughing at molly clothes .. he laughed. . Sam says I'll give you a ride home today but can't stay I have to work ...
