As I was cleaning up the dining room table. Jason says. That boy has it so bad for you ... I look at Jason for few seconds .. what who ? Sam ,Mel, sam has it for you ... NO HE DONT ! I'm laughing. Sam is my best friend. He wants more Melanie. No he really don't not every guy wants that . We have been friends for two yrs. He has never ever made a move or said a word out of line. Jason looks at me really serious, and says just because a guy doesn't make a move. Doesn't mean he don't think of u all the time and want so much more .. he look almost nervous saying this to me. But what's this mean. Why is he telling me this. He knows I don't see Sam that way . Sam is really cute. And we have the deepest conversations I tell Sam things I could never ever tell another soul . And I know Sam tells me things that nobody knows. We have an awesome friendship. But nothing more. We know too much. I've never even give any thought as to dating Sam. Just no . Jason hasn't took his eyes off me yet .. so I ask ..what's this all about. Jason puts his head down looking at the floor. Reminds me of when I talk to my mother. Or well when she talks at me. But I want to know where Jason was going with this conversation. .I feel maybe I'm not getting the underlying meaning here. Jason ? Hey. What do u mean by this I'm confused. Jason looks back up at me and says. Nothing maybe I'm wrong. But I just see the way he looks at u. He stares at u like ur a goddess. . Jason smiles as he says this .. NO WAY ! Jason ur nuts. Jason just laughs as he lights a cigarette. . I decide. Yeah its smoke break time. We sit there pretty nonverbal for about 10 mins he keeps looking up at me in this half glance sorta out the corner of his eye. It's HOT !! but he looks very deep in thought. So I ask. What? What's wrong. He says oh nothing but has this sorta half smile on his face. I get up and walk back to the kitchen area and start putting away the dishes. Jason says I'm still in shock u didn't see ur friends today none of them. Well except sam... yeah me too. But it's OK I'll see them Monday we have to meet in the auditorium to start the plans for the school talent show. Which will take place in three mons. I have to decide what I'm going be doing. . Jason looks at me ... you are going to enter the school talent show he ask .. yep! I've been in the show for the last three yrs. It's so much fun. Wow u don't seem like the type for organized group activities. .. I'm not. I say. But this one is awesome. And I get to show the school I can sing .sorta. Jason says. You can sing really well. I put my head down and look at the floor. He says. I'm serious .I say thanks with out looking at him. He says you sometimes sound like a seal tho when u try to get to high pitch. I jerk my head up and look him straight in the eyes and say u look like a seal. Specially right now with those twigs sticking out ur face. He smiles and rubs his twiggy face. Girls like the scruffy look .. I laugh . Not all "girls" are the same u know ..Jason had a gf when he first got here ,they broke up about a month ago .. miss Shana baley she was perfect. Came from semi rich parents only child had all the latest trendy clothes nice shoes .. and long blonde hair .. straight perfect hair. She came here to the house one time I met her but wasn't all that nice to her. Who am I kidding not real nice to anyone. Well except my close friends. But she was pretty very pretty and Jason was all about her. That day. I guess she gave him what he wanted. Lol. But then a month later he said they had split. I didn't ask any questions it wasn't my business and well he didn't seem so broken up about it. I've finish cleaning the kitchen and walked to the living room where I processed to wipe down the coffee table and the table in the couch. The one between the two reclining chairs in the sectional couch. Well, Jason says. As he sits down in one of the recliners . I think I'll watch TV for a while .. OK I say but kinda in a smart ass tone. . He says you have a horrible attitude! !! But laughs .. oh I get that honestly. . I say as I walk to the kitchen to put the rag down. I'm just about to walk down the hall to my room when Jason says ur mean to me .so I turn to him and say u haven't seen nothing yet .. he says challenge excepted. I can handle ur smart mouth. I am smart !! So it'll take that as a small compliment. . He says ur 16 yr old girl smart. Not a dam genius! This angers me. I'm smart . I just don't go around flaunting ,making them there common folk feel bad. And look straight around him as I say this. . He says oh I'm common folk now. And dam proud of ain't ya big guy. Lmao. He looks offended .but these battles happen almost daily now so he plays his part..
