The morning of the talent show .. Jay and I have gotten so far from each other we barely talk .. I just don't know how I feel about all the violence. . It scares me ..and I feel myself testing him. I guess I need to know if it's the worst what would he really do .. crazy but I'm not one to waste time . And I don't wanna find out yrs. From now after I'm married got two kids and mini van !!! I'm in the dressing room with 30 other girls . So much hair spray and makeup !! I've Gotten dressed just need to touch up my makeup .. I'm gonna sing first then 4 slots later I'll dance with 6 other girls . We are ready for this two mons of practicing !! I'm feeling a Lil emotional about the song .. I'm gonna sing California King bed .. it kinda sums up my life with him these days .. when I walk out on stage I see Jay sitting front and center . As the music starts .. I look out and see Sam three rows back .. he puts his thumb up . I know I got this now . Chest to chest ... I look Jay right in his eyes as I sing word for word how I feel.. when the song ends everyone stands .. I turn and walk off stage. I'm gonna cry . The last image I saw was him stand .. I go straight to the bathroom and sob .. I'm such a mess. I swear I'm the biggest Sap ever. . Get it together right now. I clean up my face and go fix my make up I have to get changed .. standing in the full length mirror I can't even believe these girls let me talk them into doing this song .. I've got my hair pulled over in two side pig tails I've got on a hot pink and black plaid shirt tied in a knot between my boobs so much cleavage ... I've got on booty blue Jean shorts and hot pink cowgirl boots I think I look perfect for this .. all the girls look the same except we all have different color shirts ,but worn the same way ,same shorts ,and we all have on cowgirl boots. Hair in pig tails I've put Lil brown dots on my cheeks.. freakles.. we walk out on stage and the music starts ... the hoe down throw down .. they are all laughing and clapping along .. I see Jay smile. . When we are down and back stage again .. my drama teacher says we are one act short .. they didn't show .. she ask if anyone wants to sing .. and then looks straight at me .. I say I just came off the stage! She says it's not for 3 more acts .. right as its time for me to go on stage I decide what I'm gonna sing.. no place that far ... it's country and I'm still wearing this get up .. we don't have the music so it's just me and a mic .. wow can I do this as I take the mic off the stand . I decide to sit on the edge of the stage right in front of Jay . When I'm done, no body moved or clapped or anything I think I've put them to sleep .. I stand and bow .. they jump to there feet and clap I look over to see my teachers crying .. awwww. I go back stage and have like 20 girls come up to me and say wow!! That was amazing! ! Thank you . I tell them .. we stand waiting to hear the winners .. 3rd place is a guy who sang a beatles song . It was awesome .. 2nd place go's us for hoe down throw down !!!! Yes!! We worked hard on that .. and 1st place is this group who did skid row song . We all jump all round so happy .. I grab all my bags of stuff and head toward the door , I wanna get home and wash the three pounds of make up ,hair spray ,and sweat off me .. I'm already starting time itch.. I hate to sweat. . When I walk out Jay is standing by the chairs at the door and two girls I dk.. are staring at Jay . It so funny when I see this because I use to be those girls , I would stare at him all the time .it was so captivated by him. He's so fucking gorgeous! ! And sexy so sexy I see what they see still .. and he's funny .. charming .. yes I definitely see what they see. But I also see the him they don't ... I walk up to him he's talking to a few of our friends .. he puts his arm around me as he's ending his conversation. .he looks at me and says wow . That was awesome !! I say thank you. Everyone that passes us says u were great Melanie . Thanks guys ..those girls are still watching Jay .. I decided to have a Lil fun .. I kiss Jay right on the lips .. then lick his bottom lip . He runs his hand down the back of my bare thigh .. I laugh . He says let's go home now. ... I look back at the girls and smile ..
