Right Kind Of Wrong

I love spending time with Jay and his family they seem to be the normal kinda family I always wanted .. grandpa's house is beautiful the kinda country cottage feel. His back yard is huge !! Lots of trees and two sheds full of man stuff to build things tools and wood every where Jay is showing me what grandpa loves to do more then anything else , build furniture. He has lots of tables and chairs .. hand made custom quality solid pieces .. I love them. They are beautiful! ! I'm certain my home will be filled with all wood country things and quilts ! Yeah I'm that girl . And grandpa's house is just like that . So I feel so comfortable here this is my kinda happy. Jay says now u know why dad has filled the house with this kinda furniture. Him and grands make a lot of the stuff them selves . I tell Jay I love it ! He looks at like he just got some kinda in sight into my world .. I go on to tell Jay I want a country cottage felt to my home when I'm grown. He smiled. Like he could handle that .. as we are walking back toward the house I see zare and the boys .. they boys spot me and both take off toward me I run to them and pick mason up and swing him around .and grab Braden and hug him tight they are both so happy to see me and Jay. Zare says they love you !! And I see grandpa smile so hard he's happy today. We all are I love days like this. The boys take off running and playing .. zare ,Jay and I walk back up to the porch and talk to grandpa . We've been here for like 4 hours , zare says to Jay and I yall come by the house when u leave here . She has to get home with the boys now .. Jay says OK. And I agree . Wendy grandpa's house keeper says grandpa's dinner is ready and he needs to eat and take his meds . We give grandpa hugs and say our good byes .. when Jay and I get in the car ,Jay turns to me and says Thank you for spending the day with me here . He says Melanie thus place is all I have left of my mom . She loved it here .. and I have so many memories of her here . So I like to spend time just sitting out back looking at the yard where my mom would chase me and those trees use to be fruit trees .so we'd pick apples and pears . ... Jay seemed so sentimental. . And happy. Not in a sad way at all. I tell Jay I love this place and ur grandpa. I would spend the day there anytime .. when we arrive at zare house she us cooking dinner for 40 ... and there is just the 4 of them .. we laugh .Jay says are u having company? Zare says just u two .. wow she's cooked fried chicken potatoe salad stuffed eggs corn on the cob greens .. it all looks so good !! I'm hungry! Zare says yall are staying for dinner ! Not even arrive question she made that full request! Jay says yes ma'am . And looks arrive me like I'm sry .. I say hell yeah. Looks delicious! We all laugh .. zare pulls rolls the size e of ur head out the oven .. Jay looks at me ,he knows my weakness is bread. . We help mark set up the patio tables and set the table for dinner . The twinkle lights are all on and this is a beautiful night. I love this .. the boys fight over who is gonna sit next to me so I place myself between them , one on each side .. Jay shows me his sad Lip .. I smile.. he sits next to mason .. zare pours us all some sweet tea with lemon wedges on the side. . Mark says what u want on this plate mel? After he made his wife a Plate zare made the boys plates .. mason says I don't like this pointing at the slaw .. I tell him I love it ..he makes a funny face. .. we all laugh. .Jay looks at his uncle and says u gonna make my plate too.. mark says as sure hunny bunny. We all laugh .. Jay makes two plates .. mark had three . I wonder how men do that ... they eat like elephants! !! And both say says fit .. mark works out super hard. Huge muscles! ! We sit there eating I'm looking at the pool and diving board.. fun times . Jay winks at me as tho he can read my thoughts. . Zare tells me we need to go shopping for my birthday ..i just smile . She says she off work Thursday and will pick me from school ... OK I agree . Cuz I know she will not let me say no thanks. .and I love spending time with her ...
