"Halley! Over here!" Lei called Halley's attention, soon as she saw her entered the restaurant.

"Ninang Lei!" Halley quickly walked towards her table and greeted her.

"I miss you so much! Sorry I wasn't able to come with your Ninong yesterday to fetch you guys at the airport

"I miss you so much! Sorry I wasn't able to come with your Ninong yesterday to fetch you guys at the airport."

"It's fine, Ninang. No big deal at all."

"Oh let's have our late lunch na, I already ordered our food. Tagal mo kasi, what took you so long?"

"I just dropped by to a store to bought this dress po." She explained while showing her a paper bag.

"My gosh Hal, is that the newest release?"

"Yup, you wouldn't believe what else happened, ninang Lei!"

"What?" Lei asked and could trace the excitement in Halley's voice.

"Out of all the people I can meet, I just met my pen pal earlier today."

"Talaga? The one you always made kwento to me and your tita Auds when you're a kiddo?"

"Yup she's the one. It was unexpected. If it wasn't for that dresses, we wouldn't meet each other."

Shortly afterward, their food had been served and so they started their late lunch date.

     "So what's her name?"

     "Abbey."

     "Abbey?"

"Oh, I forgot to ask her surname." She chuckled. "She also introduced me to her mom and her baby brother. Super cute nga po eh."

     "Their names?"

"Her brother is Adan Vincent. It's actually funny ninang, cause it sounded like papa's name."

"His Vicente? Oo nga noh." Lei laughed with Halley. "And her mom?" She then sipped on her glass.

"It's Patricia."

Lei almost spilled out her water upon hearing the name she went back here?

     "Ninang, okay ka lang po?"

"Yup, there's just something on my throat." Lei said as an excuse.

"As what I'm saying ninang, Abbey's mom is tita Patricia. I was surprised pa nga po when I introduced myself as Hailey, tapos she suddenly called me Halley."

     "She called you Halley?"

"Yes, but then I corrected her that it's Hailey. I just felt relieved when she said she misheard it. I almost thought she knew me."

Halley kept on talking to her ninang Lei who was obviously bothered by what she was telling her.

"By the way ninang, I've got this too!" Halley showed her another paper bag full of canvas, paint brushes, and other art materials.
