Early that morning, Vince woke up to the sound of something sizzling from nearby and the smell of it makes him started to crave.

Yes, he still sleeps in the living room.

Vince quickly sits up on the couch.

He arched his head to look at the kitchen.

He was surprised to see Tricia cooking and even more surprised to see who was with her.

Why is he here? Vince asks himself but did not bother to approach them, he just sits in there and listens to them first.

"Mommy, are you done now?" Adan asks.

He was sitting near the counter.

"Not yet baby, wait a little more."

"Can we call daddy when you're done na po mommy? Please, I miss him."

"We can't pa baby eh, he still have works."

"Hmm, okay po mommy." Adan said and was a bit upset about it. "Can I go wake up tito ice cream na po?"

"Later na baby after mom's done—"

"You don't have to wake me up." Vince butted in before Tricia can finish her sentence.

"Oh, you're already awake, good morning." Tricia greeted with a smile as she looks at him.

"Morning." He smiled too then nod his head.

"Tito ice cream!" Adan quickly ran towards him. "I miss you, ate Hailey and ate Abbey said they miss you too po."

Vince did not hesitate to carry Adan.

"I miss you too, how did you get here?"

"Tito pogi brought me here po."

Vince was curious about what Adan was talking about so he looked at Tricia.

"Abbey called last night, nag-tantrums na naman si Adan. I ask a favor to Emman if he could bring him here, hindi kasi siya sanay ng wala ako." Tricia explained to him. "Pinasabay ko lang si Adan, they told me na pupunta sila ni Audrey sa Bohol."

"Sinong kasama nung dalawa?"

"Drei messaged me, sila daw muna ni Lei. Didn't they inform you?"

"Baka nag message din, I haven't checked my phone pa eh." Vince nodded then looked at Adan again.

The two started chatting with each other as Adan kept telling Vince how their flight went.

"Did you have breakfast na ba?" Vince asks Adan, still carrying him in his arms.

"Mommy's not yet done cooking pa po."

"Ano bang niluluto ni m—ng mommy mo?"

Vince takes a quick peek at the pan behind Tricia and smells it again at the same time.

"Smells good." Vince added.

"It tastes delicious too tito ice cream."

"Really?" He asks as if not believing Adan.

"Yes po, try it." Adan confidently said. "Mommy, let tito ice cream try it po please."

"Sure, wait baby." Tricia grabbed a fork.

"Patikim ako ah." Vince told her.

Tricia took a bite-size piece from it and was handling the fork to Vince.
