It was that moment, Tricia was standing at the door, seeing the father of her two sweetest bundles, Vince. He was seating at the edge of the bed, gently caressing the two.

Since she was facing his back, Vince had no idea that Tricia had been watching him.

Those fond gestures of Vince had always been considered as memories for keeps.

Of all the things he had been through those years, none of them made him a cold and heartless one...

Tricia knew Vince had few episodes of him being grumpy and short-tempered. But the softest and sweetest side of him remains.

Why did I let you go?

And before Tricia could come up with another why question, she wiped her tears which she hasn't noticed earlier.

Silently closed the doors behind her.

     Tricia swiftly walked towards Vince.

     Hugged him from behind.

"Good morning," Tricia greeted as she made him look up at her, "what are you doing here so early?"

Vince pulled a smile then wiped his tears, Tricia didn't know he shed some too.

     "Hey, what's wrong?"

"Wala," he chuckles before gently pulling her towards him then asked her to sit on his lap.

Tricia did and cupped his face while wiping his cheeks, "Vince?"

     "I'm fine, I'm just happy."

He felt her wrapping her arms around his neck and so he locked his arms around her waist too, pulling her closer.

     "Thank you for staying, Tricia."

"No, thank you for letting me."

     "May choice pa ba ako?"

     "Sus, mahal mo ako, Vin—"

     "Teka, masyado tayong confident."

Tricia giggles a little then playfully hits his arms for she knew he was just trying to goof around.

"Mali ba ako, Mr. Vicente?"

"Hmm," he acted as if thinking.

"Ah, so you don't?" She pouted.

God those lips, she's even more attractive, Vince smiled, "hindi eh," he wiggled his brows.

"Why?" She giggles as if she knew what his brows-wiggling means, "kasi mahal na mahal, yun ba?"

"Naks, marunong ah."

"Naman, learned from the expert eh."

The two shared a good laugh.

Vince being the typical him didn't let this one pass without them exchanging kisses in between.

Whilst, of course, keeping themselves quiet still so they wouldn't wake up their kids.
